It’s crazy to me that every season people complain about the lack of free rewards when clearly they’ve only increased. Not to mention you don’t even need to reach level 100 to get all of them because the extra stars you have at the end unlock the rest of the free rewards

This is a proper yes'nt, yes we get more rewards but the more rewards is garbage nobody will use like sprays, or emoticons, plus we get less skins since half of the rewards are bonus styles and we get hella less emotes, compared to ch1 for example we got hella emotes hella skins and some skins and mainly tier 100 had many styles, like for example the drifter and so on,

its not the "lack of rewards" people are complaining about, its more about the quality of the items, after chapter 3 season 4, alot of the free items are either bad or just nobody uses them

A fun fact is that the Tra La La emote from Season X was the first free traversal emote (mind you, they were added in season 8) mainly due to the fact one the weekly challenges required you to "Travel 100m while dancing" Also, despite having not played in that season, Ch4 S4 overall had the best free items IMO

Well I dont remember if its true but you can use vichles to help doing the challeng (mainly the hover/drift borad since I remember they were in season x) so a player with no traversal emote can complet the challeng without them (and also I think the zip lines and frozen water also help but just like with vichels I am not 100% sure if its true).

I've always likes the free cosmetics in the battle pass. I even like to do a lil thing where I try to find the best combo to do with just the free items from battle passes. As for my favorite, it has to be the contrails from ch2 s5. These just go so well with any skin and are so versatile and I use both of them to this day As for overall best cosmetics I think ch2 s3 because those were also all very versatile and usable with a bunch of stuff
