I do enjoy a good retrospective; it'll be exciting to see you manage to sufficiently summarise the Mario Kart series and it's evolution in under 20 minutes. 1:40 - Super Circuit is my favourite Mario Kart. It's a nice evolution of Super Mario Kart with smoother controls, lovely visuals and a surprising amount of challenge to it's later tracks. 3:27 - Nice to see Koopa Beach specifically get a mention. There's a lot of charm to the original Mario Kart but it is a tad rough to return too. One thing I'm disappointed that didn't carry over into future Mario Kart games/get more emphasis in the game and track design is the jumping mechanic. It's a small thing but I like how it was added as a means to give the racer some Mario series DNA. 6:30 - I've never looked Mario Kart 64 and thought, "those characters are 2D sprites." The effect to make them look 3D is so well done and from the back view, they just look like smooth polygons. I remember very little about playing the actual races of Mario Kart 64 but I do recall many fun times playing the battle mode. 8:22 - Double Dash here is my younger brother's favourite Mario Kart and it is my 2nd favourite Mario Kart. The kart selection is swifter and more straightforward and the unique items per character is a cool touch. It's double-mechanic also makes it the best Mario Kart game to play when looking after kids; I was able to have my 2-3 year old Nephew playing with me by having him in the item usage role where he only needed to press one button and he had a great time actually participating in a game (without dying all the time). 10:22 - Whilst the look of Mario Kart DS is an impressive feat, it is merely just a feat. In terms of visual appeal, I'd still say Super Circuit looks better, even if it's not as technically impressive. 12:45 - Interesting main gripe; usually I've seen people complain about the insane item frequency. In fact, I've generally heard this regarded as the worst of the Mario Karts (though aside from DS, which is beloved, most folks seem to forget there were other handheld Mario Karts). I've played it only a couple times at a friend's house and I admittedly wasn't a fan. The controls felt weird compared to Double Dash and I hate how the game can feel too large with it's insanely wide tracks whilst also being too clustered with it's overabundance of drivers. 14:17 - I've played Mario Kart 8 (Deluxe specifically) once before and I will agree on how good the controls are. It was surprising how natural and easy it was to pick up and play. I still have issues with it (tracks too wide and kart selection lacks the simplicity of Double Dash) but gameplay, game feel, visuals and sound are all solid.

You're deluded if you think the best Mario Kart game is either Double Dash or 8. It's clearly Path of Radiance. In fact, it's also the best Zelda game, best F-Zero game, and best Hello Kitty Cruisers game! In all seriousness, this was another epic video! Now I'll never be able to play Mario Kart 8 Deluxe without thinking about peanut butter or un-see that Mario Party 7 was one of the defining moments of your life. You have a good mixture of seriousness and out-of-nowhere comments that constantly make me chuckle! ...In regards to a sequel to the Bible... Wouldn't that be called Heaven?

Why Tour is mainline: 1. It’s directed by the same team who did 8 deluxe 2. It’s filled with tracks from across the console games 3. It’s nitro tracks (cities and non-cities both) are all coming to 8 deluxe, a console game. In short: Tour is intertwined heavily with console games ------------ The common arguments against Tour being mainline are: 1. Tour functions differently from other games 2. Tour isn’t on a Nintendo system And 3…. People simply don’t like Tour, as if that’s a reason why it’s not mainline. These arguments are ridiculous, just because Tour functions differently doesn’t automatically make it a “side game” in the franchise. With that logic then any innovation to a MK game might as well make it not mainline

i don't think tour should be considered a mainline game for the simple fact that eventually the servers will shut down and you won't be able to play it and that's not the case with any of the others however i understand why people would consider it to be mainline, but i like to think that every mainline game should be able to be played whenever you want to

please don't take this in the wrong way but i think that you're trying to be too similar to scott the woz even if it isn't on purpose i really enjoyed the video but the whole time it looked like i was watching a scott the woz video i think adding a bit more of your personality would help you, it would make it feel different and maybe it'd help you grow more idk hope you grow as you deserve tho, it was very entertaining also super circuit is better than super mario kart 👀
