The Evolution of Naughty Dog Games (1989-2020)

Naughty Dog was always the cutting edge of its time but im particularly amazed at the jump of PS1 to PS2, as the Crash games were fixed camera narrow games yet the power of the PS2 since the first Jak game showed way more detailed enviroments and extremely open at the same time. The PS2 can render i think like 100-200 times more polygons than the PS1 at higher framerate even with the PS1 using the fastest mode (flat) over PS2 slowest one using textures. And most of those polygons in PS1 also got reduced due to the hardware issues that devs needed to manually fix. I know many other early PS2 games are very impressive as well, but in terms of scale The Precursor Legacy showed how much more powerful the next gen is over the previous one. I think we would never see that kind of jump in 3d graphics again.
