When you said that the swamp is the only map with og art style they should make a mode where some fan favorite maps with the og art style, hud etc return to the game only in that mode so old and new players can experience it

I'd love to see a video about map resizes/rebalances(stuff like how certain loops and tiles changed similar to your cow tree video) could do it realm by realm to make it easier on your psyche since you'd have to go through a lot of old vods to see some of the changes. The trees on backwater at the end of this video reminded me how pale rose just used to have a giant woods section close to the boat and next to the 2nd pier that got removed.

About the Swamp maps being changed, I'm sure it was changed a bit recently. The Pale Rose boats upper deck is a bit different having the chest and lockers spawn differently there.

Yes, they did some kind of shakeup for generating filler loops and debris on several realms. I think it was done right before the Hillbilly buff PTB. Losing the old version of the swamp map won't be so terrible, since we'll be getting 2 new versions from the Hag's old concept art. One with the tree tunnel you can walk under and the elevated village one with all the hanging baskets and cages.

I think the clutter on the new killer shacks are perfect imo. Made it so much easier for killers since survivors were able to cheese the system and just loop killers for hours. It spoke nothing about their skill, they just exploited the poor map design that they eventually fixed. The only people mad about that change are people who have to now use their head instead of exploiting a bad system.

shack is probably the best designed loop , its so fun to play as survivor , if u are good you cant get caught if u are bad u get outplayed , thats how everyloop should be

There needs to be a balance of strong and weaker loops if all loops are strong it becomes the game pre throw and run or you get badham school which anyone can loop no skill needed. Shack is fine badham defiantly need some fixes though.

Sorry to tell you, but the Swamp map is not the original design. It was one of the first maps to be redesigned, when they started to redesign them. It used to be the largest map of all, and then they reduced the size by something like 40%. The steamboat has seen the fewest changes, but everything else has changed dramatically. There used to be so much tall grass that it was almost impossible to find bodies.

Yes that's true, The Pale Rose has been reworked two times in the past and the Grim Pantry used to have two maze tiles instead of the dock. What I am referring to in the video however is the artstyle of the swamp maps, more specifically the fact that the actual textures are the same ones from back in 2016, hence why I said that the swamp is the only og realm that has not been visually updated as part of the realm beyond update.

I hope they wont change how the swamp looks like. I hate those changes on Coldwind, Red Forest or Macmillian. There is no atmosphere, climate there anymore. Well, this game is going to be comedy now, with Chucky screaming and Unknown roaming around. It used to gave some chills, not lauhgs. Anyway i play it rarely these days. DBD is going to wrong direction.

gotta love comment on reddit at staty. Even all these years laters killers still argue same thing " survivors only need to hold 1 button their not hard to play". Id argue survivor takes more skill than killer to play. My Reasoning; Killer and Survivors need to learn each others perks. So no big difference bewteen the two. Survivors need to hold 1 button to do gens. Most killers need to press 1 button to get a down or hit. Killers need awareness of maps and gens. So do survivors, they also need to keep constant watch on other survivors, what pallets have / havnt been dropped, where is safe, what gens been done, are we 3 genning ourselves. All similar stuff to killer. So far it seems fairly equal but the reason i say survivor is harder comes down to 1 simple fact. Killers need to learn only what perks survivors can have. Thats it. Survivors have no special powers. Just 4 Perks. Survivors need to not only learn perks, but also every single killer power. As looping a Blight is not the same way you loop a huntress or a nurse. Most killers require different looping, or some kind of interaction unique to them for instance Sadako Condemn, Ceno's Box etc. Yes Killer needs to learn this power aswell, but most Killer mains focus on 1 or couple of killers. Few play All killers Equally. Even on survivor side you have mains. Its a nature of game. But Please don't bring that Killer is harder survivor is ez mode stuff as its just not true. Their both equally as hard with survivor imo being slightly harder for reasons above.

Беше доста изпълнено с напрежение с двата Vault-а, но тогава играчите още не бяха на ниво, и никой не беше чувал за loops. Все още помня как се забъркахме да играем с NoThx, просто така, докато той стриймваше. Даже когато той беше килър и лобито беше бъгнало бяхме той (като килър) и 8 сървайвъра.
