I'm just gonna assume Chopper just had a quick look at what's left of the eye and left it at that. Maybe gave him some advice on glass eyes or sth. I really like the idea that there's nothing special about his eye. He just caught a semi-serious cut from Mihawk and lost the eye. Doesn't need to be a dormant demon inhabiting his eye socket, which spawns forth Ryuma in time of dire need, oooh, it can just be a normal injury.

He hasn’t really progressed much as a character. And he isn’t that complex and to be honest most one piece characters don’t progress. Characterization is a big thing in one piece and everything else afterwards just kind of expands in that. Zoro always seemed like a loyal dude that doesn’t take shit from anyone. It’s inky really expanded from there. He hasn’t changed his character has gotten more defined. And zoro being in new situations that he isn’t used to isn’t development it’s just a new situation he isn’t used to.

Zoro had a goal but absolutely no direction orgrounding force to guide him with purpose. Luffy at first came off as1 of countless schmucks trying to be the next Roger, many of which Zoro killed for a night of booze. When he first joined he literally threatened to kill Luffy if Zoro thinks he is getting to weak or off from his goal. But as the series goes on, shown in action not overtly commented on Zoro becomes Luffy's rock, this grounding reliable force to keep him as a true captain. Zoro became in action the first mate. But it was slow. At the Baratie Zoro made a statement of his devotion to his goal of being the greatest swordsman to Mihawk. Then in Water 7 and Ennies Lobby we see Zoro council Luffy when Luffy's emotions blind him. Then that moment, when Zoro knocks out Sanji and risks his everything for Luffy. Zoro at the start would have stopped Kuma so he could kill Luffy for being weak, but this Zoro, who from Luffy found a purpose, is completely ready to die for his captain and his crew. And then there is Zoro over the time skip. He was going to die at the Baratie to have a chance as the greatest swordsman, but now for Luffy's dream he prostrated himself before his greatest opposition and groveled begging to be taught for Luffy not for himself.

Also, Zoro's intro into the post-time skip was Zoro cutting a ship in half just like Mihawk cut a ship in half when he first appeared. In addition, don't forget when Zoro first fought Mihawk he didn't even consider the possibility of losing to Mihawk's dagger. Now in Wano, the land of strong swordsmen, Zoro killed a guy (And the house behind the guy) with a flying slash from a suicide danger, that non-of the other Wano "samurai" at Zoro's "execution" thought was dangerous. Zoro's intro into Wano (by cutting a man down with a dagger) was a parallel to Mihawk beating Zoro with a dagger. Mihawk's danger was still smaller but Zoro has grown to the point that he to could defeat people with a "pocket knife". Ironically making him far closer to achieving "Pocket Knife Dave's" dream than Dave himself had ever thought possible. 10:39

Ah, one thing I wish Tekking would've addressed, that always struck me as the biggest part of Zoro's "recruitment": When Luffy jumps in front of that shooting squad, Zoro knows jack shit about his fruit. He literally thinks this random guy is sacrificing himself for him. And even learning that he was safe due to the fruit, I don't think Zoro really forgot that gesture.

I feel like Zoro also became better at his strategies and battle analysis after the timeskip. Before, he was purely the combatant, a "tell me who you want me to cut" type of crewmate. Now, he's making plans and analyzing situations. Like the time he made plans on how to prevent Pica from killing Riku and the time he explained his analysis on why Sanji leaving for Totland was stupid because they don't want another Yonkou on their asses.

No like in arabasta there was 5 cites and a river but in dressrosa there is only one and it is like all of the island (country) plus only the southern part of arabasta was showen in the manga and anime.But if you watch closely the city where vivi gave here speach of how she was with the straw hat pirates and the moments when they lifted their arms with the x on it,it was in another city( with the size of about 1/2 dressrosa) of the island and it was in the far north-west.So what i am asuming that their is some big island in the one piece that are one country (arabasta),other who are the the size of a descent city (dressrosa),some with a handful of villages (nami island,buggy island) and finally little island with 1 or 2 village (usopp island)

Caesar’s flame attack was by igniting the gas he makes from his fruit no haki involved, Fishmen are all able to control and manipulate water so not really haki, Brook’s fruit is responsible for his ice stuff, Law’s fruit basically centers around medical things and items so countershock is basically the pumps they use to restart the heart

Rokushiki and haki are seperate things. I guess that you could view haki as the stronger version. I've always thought that Rokushiki only needs to get trained. Haki also needs to get awakened. Sword-attacks, Ivankov's blinks and King Punch are just shockwaves. Hasshoken? Maybe. You might be on to something there. Fishmen Karate has always been treated as its own thing and Jinbe knows haki on top of it. I'd like for it to stay like that. Kuja-arrows are literally just coated in armament haki. Sabo's dragon-moves would probably be of the air-"element" if that was the case. Garp's fist is just Garp being Garp. He used armament haki before it was officially a thing. Law's Radio Knife is part of his devil fruit abilities. The story has been over that already. The Minks' Electro is static electricity, because of their fur. You're not even trying anymore. Brook explained his ice like he could channel the powers of the underworld, so it might just be a part of his devil fruit.

I will say this for the thousandth time but Zoro, is one of my favorite characters to follow and watch grow, and get stronger and stronger in One Piece, besides Luffy, and Franky, it’s probably because i love Swordsmen, and swords, so much plus he’s way to badass, and most importantly i want him to surpass Mihawk, and become someone who can never lose again because he still loses a lot. Zoro giving Luffy the captain talk made me grow up to be a person who sticks to their decisions. Let your no be no and your yes be yes. Don't let anyone toy with you and your time. I've had to end a 13yr long friendship that was basically brotherly or so I thought. Normally I'd be the one to try and fix things but I had to think back to everything and put my foot down and let him go. Never let anyone walk over you and after things end let them end. After you've done your part move forward. If the bond is real life will find a way but if not you'll learn a lesson that will always stay with you. With that comes respect. ZORO taught me this.

I´m kinda sad about one of Zoro´s earliest character developments: At the very start of the series he´s a pretty fun guy, confident and likes to laugh quite a lot. In the anime he has a great laugh, very infectious. And then after his meetup with Mihawk he becomes way more serious, more intense and focused, and sadly laughs almost never. Real pity I also feel like Zoro hasn´t gotten enough attention since the timeskip (like almost everyone in the crew except Luffy), but especially in Wano. I expected him to be way more in the limelight considering that it´s the land of the samurai

What do you mean? Aside from Luffy, Zoro got the most development out of the other Strawhats. Even more than Sanji. Plus Wano actually gave Zoro his own mini arc, with him getting lost and meeting Hiyori and everything.

@@sternritter9788 I wouldn't say that Zoro got more than Sanji. Heck, I wouldn't even say that Sanji got a lot of character development in his own arc. If anything, I'd say that they only got just a little bit of character development each. I feel like Oda's giving them both a lot of set up for the very end of the series, though, where he'll deliver their best character development.

It's really interesting to remember that Zoro at the beginning, although a 'little' strange compared to others, was actually relatively normal. Just with a strong sense of honor and the desire to get stronger. It's not really until nami's arc and after getting cut down by Mihawk that he gradually become some kind of inhuman demon. Luffy really rubbed off on him.

Yeah. Oda hasn't given very much to hint at any relationship between them, but the Zoro fans are pretty dead set on that. If Oda goes that route, then I don't really care, but I hope he shows a little more chemistry.
