Fascinating video: Glad I predominantly retired at age 48, now focusing on relaxation, happiness & health. Growing a hair style as Benjamin Franklin $100 would help some adopt his curiosity of the world. I’ve visited 83 countries and always enjoyed the curiosity of a new country, planning on visiting 5 more new countries this year. “The World Peace Diet” helped me develop a new way of thinking and completely reversed my life threatening cardiovascular disease of 15 years ago, luckily without surgery or medications. Very excited in reading your new book exploring the Sublime. Stay healthy & happy.

I sympathize with this… a couple of things. First off Sertraline (Zoloft) is the best gift I ever gave myself. It’s basically a pill of well being and will radically alleviate the cortisol and therefore the reactivity and negative feelings. I would add more to this… but it’s fruitless to try to rationalize about an issue primarily governed by neurochemistry and characterized by reactivity! You won’t be rational in those moments, so i believe it’s best to treat the condition first.

I quite agree with Nietschze, as Greene relays it, that there is no one truth or reality. For the rest, I rarely understood what he was on about, could not relate it; even as explained by contemporary philosophers. Or in those cases when I do understand, I don't find it profound. But I respect those who regard him highly; it may just be my intellectual limitations. Or maybe the fact that I never suffered much and have a positive disposition has something to do with it.

As some who is a huge follower of Robert Greene for years , who subscribed to his paid email list for years and has diligently watched most of his videos on KZbin I am really disappointed in the old rehash of the old content and not bringing much to the table in his instagram and youtube channel . His books have my respect not his videos. There are others offering more value in video department. Most of videos are more marketing for his books in nature. His protege Holidays offer manifold times more value in his youtube vidoes. Greene offers more value in books. If want value read his books ignore his videos they don't offer a fraction of the value your time would be spent manifold times better reading his books. It would be more exciting if he made videos based on some glimpses from his new work. That would be much more exciting and rewarding and make us readers want to buy his book more.

I agree. But it sometimes happens when you are having a bad day in general, some difficult situations make us more tired, clumsy, inattentive and because we are trying to keep it together in the face of adversity it only takes stubbing a foot against something for us to crack and take it out on the rock/door...instead of confronting the real problem already.
