I remember this episode and actually thought it was a really good and interesting story. Haskell's wife didn't leave because she gave up on him, she left because he gave up on himself. She tried helping him until she realized it wouldn't be any use if he wasn't going to help himself. You can't help someone who doesn't want to be helped.

Women like alpha male, but the problem is that they like men whom seem like alpha male, not real alpha male, that is why they are attracted to men in uniform, athletic and bad boys. But once the man is out of uniform, she is no longer attracted to him, he is still that same guy whom is a marine or special forces, which mean he is still an alpha male, but because he is not in uniform, he don't look like alpha male any more, so now she don't like him. Retire athletic until he turn 70 is still the same alpha male, but because he isn't using sport to prove his masculinity anymore, she don't feel like he is alpha male any more, so she don't like him anymore. Bad boys, are not real alpha male, take a look at the army, how many bad boys ever made the cut into special forces? None. What about the marines, my dad was in the army and in his experience bad boys are always the worse performing soldiers there is, I use to do martial arts, we have a few bad boys in our class and they suck, in the ring they are the first to get K.O. But because bad boys going around acting aggressive to others and pick fights with people, girls start been attracted to them, feeling they are alpha male, just because they act dominate, despite nine out of ten bad boys, are really pussies. (PS: Ever seen a woman making a bad boy her bitch. I once had a bad boy come trying to bash me up and I made him and his friend my bitch. He call another one of his friend to come and my mum whom was standing there, bashed the crap out of that third bad boy, totally made the bad boy her bitch. I am telling you bad boys act and talk tough, but 90% are really pussies)
