Hi your video was very helpful I have been dragon boating for a while, this is my fourth year and my right side is noticeably better than my left. My left I seems to be shoveling in water and I get myself and the person behind me wet even though my left side is much more stronger, my right side far away is much better for Technique. Are there any additional pointers that you can recommend so I can rectify this problem?

Thank you for leaving your comment. I think you answered your own question when you say your right side is technically better and your left is stronger. Strength sometimes mean we muscle too much and are not using technique, hence, going too far back and flipping up the water at the exit rather than using the end of the resistance in the stroke (usually not past the hip with the blade mostly straight up and down) to get out of the water. My suggestion is to take note of how far back you go on the right and the position of your blade at that time and transfer this knowledge to your left side. Let me know if this helps!
