Hate is different from political views, jealousy, envy and xenophobia. There’s a conflict of interest between China and Korea and there still is. If you know the history between the two countries you’ll know why. China kept a close eye on Lay to point fingers thus creating an awkward situation for Lay to perform however sm did mistreat the other 3. Lay became inactive since 2017 because of the politics of China not Korea. Both countries stunt his growth until China offered him a lot of money to represent. If you don’t run with them, they’ll ruin you.

I don't understand why discord subs who streams kpop reactor always spread misinformation? Not just in ur channel btw but also in other kpop channel. These ppl are always so confident in telling the reactors about smthing even when it's completely wrong bcus they know no shit about EXO? Oscratized? Wtf that idiot is talking about? The only reason Lay wasn't able to join them all this time is bcus of political tension between China & Korea. Smthing that even SM couldn't do anything. & he's not a CGI in DFTF. And Lay ran back to Korea just to see D.O. off when he enlisted and ran back within 24 hours. Sehun, being silly, texted Lay from Korea asking where he parked his car because he lost it. Xiumin hung out with Lay when he came to Korea a few months ago to promote his album. Lay was the first EXO member to do the First Snow challenge last year. He's not ostracized.

SM got it with all their groups. They do R&B exceptionally well which is why I like almost all of their groups like S.E.S, the grace, f(x), TVXQ, SNSD, Shinee, Exo (my ults), Red velvet, aespa and riize, oh and BoA too.

Ehh I loveeeeee RIIZE but they definitely have the weakest vocals of an SM Group, they’re good singers, but one thing SM didn’t give them was at least one powerhouse vocalist. Sohee is a good main vocal, but looking at the ones that came before him, there’s a lot to be desired w/ him and RIIZE.

Crazy confession but EXO made me realize that I LOVE r&b. Like I had listened to r&b artists before I discovered them obv, but I was never obsessed with the genre. I gravitate towards chill music but even back then it was mostly like chill rap (think January 28th by J.Cole). Watching their live performances (especially the acoustic melody) and hearing their discography with the biggest stank face I could ever get out of my system made me realize, "oh, I really fuck with these smooth ass beats and amazing vocals". Like EXO made me want to listen to more r&b artists from the west if you could believe that. I literally have a playlist called EXO R&B, which is all their r&b leaning tracks + songs from solo projects. Earlier albums have A LOT of good r&b songs. EXODUS has a lot of good ones but if you want more there's the songs Moonlight, Love Love Love, and What Is Love from the EXO-K subunit, and then there's Baby Don't Cry from the very first EXO album.

Lay and rest of group are still close and talk to each other often. In one of Lays meetings in him company he told them they are my guys. He even showed them the wallpaper on is phone is a picture of all of them together. When China allows him to travel to Korea they all get together. It is the countries not the boys. They are all close to each other and support each other.

Please be aware of misinformation and do your own research. Some of us have been fans of EXO since 2012-13. If Lay was being ostracized by the rest of the members because of his nationality he never would have stayed in the group and left a long time ago like the other mistreated Chinese members who broke their contracts. He stays in EXO BECAUSE he loves his members and the fans. He hasn’t performed on stage with EXO in years, since before they started enlisting in the military but he still calls himself an EXO member. SM may have great producers behind it but they are terribly abusive to their artists. EXOLS and members have been through a lot of bad things since debut. They are a greedy company with slave contracts. Lay has his own company in China. Baekhyun, Chen and Xiumin are in a separate company now, started by Baekhyun but still performing and recording with EXO. Baekhyun did not even get paid for his most recent EXO comeback with SM. They are right that it’s complicated but that’s because SM is the source for all the drama.

Chat acting as if kpop hasnt been heavily censored on chinese TV esp in the 2014-2018 period exo were at their biggest chinese broadcasting wouldnt let ppl flip flop between promoting in china and korea and bc Lay was the only chinese member left and had a massive fanbase it was p much a business decision to just keep him in the chinese market. + being such a huge celeb that put more pressure on him to appear patriotic or whatever. But like even in the last few years Lisa was a judge on a chinese idol show and couldnt name drop BlackPink and had to just refer to them as 'her team'.
