This is good content , very happy for you. I myself moved back home in 2017 after completing my middle school, high school and college in Massachusetts. I like how you elaborate zim exactly how it is without sugar coating. Moving from a developed country to a developing one definitely takes some courage ,patience and bravery and I commend you for that!. Looking forward to view more awesome content ,keep living!.

Very nice video and I must say a very fair, factual and true representation of Zimbabwe. Kinda of a breath of fresh air compared to the fake, biased reports, blogs one sees on Zimbabwe!

Great editing, the background music is dope.....so mellow, it's in sync with your narrative. What's the name of the song?

My husband and I are moving to Harare in April. We will most likely be living in North Harare/Brookdale area. I am SO excited and I have loved your videos

How neat! I am in that same area - will definitely have to meet up for coffee! We use ZOL for internet and besides the hassle of figuring out payment (currency) each month it works great. I work remotely for a company in the US and have no issues at all! You will need a backup source for electricity - we have a small invertor that runs our plugs and wifi and we have a generator as well (sometimes it can be days / weeks if there is a larger issue going on)! very excited for you! you will love it here

@@LeawithoutBorders Yes! We will definitely have to meet up! Thank you. I already found ZOL, so I have that lined up. Our home also has a generator, thankfully. Your videos have been super helpful, mostly for me and my husbands families who were worried, because we all know how the news reports on all the good things going on. I am so excited to experience the culture and the nature that Zim has to offer.

Out of interest...why is it people from western worlds living in other countries specifically third world are called expats not immigrants..yet people from other part of the world living in western worlds are called immigrants not expats?
@LeawithoutBorders
@LeawithoutBorders 3 жыл бұрын
That is a great question! I guess expat in my case refers to a temporary living abroad situation. My husband and I plan to return to my home at some point. Immigration refers to typically permanent living situations with no plans to ever return to your native country. Just my thoughts 😀
