MP Ndindi Nyoro: There is a budget increment in housing because it’s critical for job creation. There is also an increase in allocation in the immigration department because it provides passports and other documents

..we voted into office educated thieves who have figured out since 2010 that it is more profitable to steal the loans they borrow under our name and make us pay for it by hiking the taxes in order to keep their ATM( which is our good name and credit in the international lending markets) solvent. Waiting to steal tax collections was so 1963-2007 and would never get you into the billionaire class.

Hon. Nyoro strugling to explain his numbers, Dr. Rugo objectively educating the people. At the end of the day its about factual numbers. Finance Bill 2023 has not yielded results, our deficit this year is already at 900 b up from 600 on paper. The 500 b for 2024 will also go up because the ability to raise 2.9 T seems far out of reach.

Something very revealing caught my attention.. If you listen to Ndindi Nyoro at 7:22 , you hear him say that we're repaying 1.08 Trillion in both local and foreign debt repayment in interest rates, but almost 75% of that(750 Billion) is debt repayment to local lenders. Going by figures, we have more external debt(around 5.1 Trillion in a total national debt of 9.6 Trillion) than local. The President has always indicated it is better having a big chunk of our loans being locally sourced due to better interest rates in comparison to external loans interest rates. Ndindi's statement indicates otherwise, it is evident locally sourced loans attract more interest than externally sourced loans.
@vw232724 күн бұрын
Kibaki alikopa dollar ikiwa 80ksh now we are repaying external debt ikiwa 130ksh.a country can handle internal debt easily through inflation. Be more worried about PPP's like express way.coz the it's external.
