I have 2 volumes from the New Testament expository series. I think it is great and strikes a middle ground, it is conservative, in depth and devotional. It’s not technical even by a long distance. The more technical commentary have much more exegesis, literary criticism, theological explanation, social historical context and rhetorical analysis... I refer to ZECNT and NICNT which are my absolute favourites. In contrast the expositor series is for helping to tease out more from your daily Bible reading. As always grateful for your video.
