In the UK the Rival is £259 and the Maxx is £609. In terms of value the Rival wins by a significant margin.

To add insult to injury, I ordered parts for the Maxx on 20th April, and they are out of stock until June 15th (expected). 2 months wait on Traxxas parts! Definitely worth picking the Rival instead.

Great video Leg ends. The MAXX is the only RC car I own. I bash it hard (not as hard as you guys!) The MT10 looks awesome. Just not sure if having two similar RC's is a good idea.....always debating which car to get next.

The Rival is a beast of a truck but I think over all the max looks better, but all that aside some of the landings was question -able lol, the landing down the ramp on the front wheels was sick lol 👍😉

In all honesty mate we couldn’t argue with anyone that made an informed decision for one over the other. They both have their pros and both have few cons, ultimately it comes down to preference; they’re both incredible trucks - but for us, it’s the rival all day long👍🏼

Guys this comment I’m only halfway through the video but I really feel a better comparison video against rival Would be the big rock. There are more equal then the max in the rival. In my opinion I think the max has them beat but it is a 4s truck. That’s why I say I think it would be a better video to do against a big rock. And I believe LOL the big rock will come out on top that’s just me though. I still don’t have the rival yet. But I plan on getting one soon. Awesome video so far. Like I said I’m only halfway through but I’m sure the rest is gonna be just as good LOL

Each to their own dude, the maxx and the rival both have their respective strengths and both are insane trucks. We’ve never owned the big rock but we have had the granite and it’s night and day between the two of them, interesting point raised though👍🏼

Worth remembering that we can only compare the trucks we own, and neither of us have the Big Rock available to compare, otherwise we would. Sadly, these things cost money and that means purchases are carefully considered, which is why the Rival wins this comparison so easily. Half the price, but equally durable and more power/control available. 👍

Good test, but you would have to run the maxx on 4s to be even. Still in all the mt10 is a better race truck and the maxx is like backflipping a tank.

Hmm, kinda hard to compare. Bashing is very subjective depending on who's doing it. I thought you guys were gonna bash it especially at that skate park. Like full boar launches in which case the maxx would definitely take the win. More after market support and easier to get parts. As of now, shocks and driveshafts are the only upgrades for the rival and because of low sales it won't get anymore. I have the new pro4 sct which is basically the same as the rival except a longer chassis. All the parts are interchangeable because I have had to replace many so far. Still a good truck but out of all the things I mentioned, the maxx wins

The maxx wins in no area other than raw durability. We eliminated the subjectivity by using one car after the other, it’s the same driver so it’s consistent, there are many more upgrades than that for the rival my friend, many more
