Linas Vaičiukynas I love that it’s a 77mm filter because it’s a common size, and works with what I’ve already got 👍
@S3l3ct1ve5 жыл бұрын
@@tombuck indeed, 20mm version need a special filter holder and a square filters, that are uncomfortable to use and the system itself cost more than ~200$ while a 77mm circular filter is at least 3x cheaper than a square one, not to mention that with todays cameras there is hardly a need to use grad filters, so polarizer, ND1000 or similar filters are pretty much all we need these days.

My high school graduation class had 66 people and one of the other highschools only graduated 27 the same year. Now live in one of the biggest city in the US. While it has its perks, wife and I are looking to move back out into a small town. The pace of life is soo much slower and relaxed.

I’ve been using this beast of a lens for the past few months as well... I always found 16mm a bit too wide and 24mm not always wide enough. This is a nice sweet spot. It’s pretty hefty though so be sure to order some free weights with it 😜.

I'd definitely love to learn more about shooting music videos. There's loads of local artists here looking to make vids, and not really knowing where to start has really kept me from pursuing that as a possible gig.
@Thoracius3 жыл бұрын
Most musicians have like no money because nobody buys music any more. So that should be the first reason why you don't pursue it as a "gig." But if you want to get started anyway, then just start -- reach out to some bands and offer to make music videos for free, and learn as you go. There are no rules, and you don't need any fancy gear. Just be creative.

I've been using the Sigma 30mm on my Sony a6500 a lot, which also stops to f/1.4 - I love it. But on full frame its SO WIDE OPEN! Like, it looks like you blurred the background in post after shooting on an iPhone to get a shallow depth of field or fix a focus issue (which I've done before).

Hi to Jetti and all the viewers. What do you think about the lack of an IS on this lens, I am using the 18-35 art from sigma on canon cameras that lack IBIS, too and in run and gun situations the footage is a little bit shaky. How do you deal with that? Stabilise it later in post, avoid bigger movements, using tripod or gimbal? Tanks for your great entertaining, useful content! May the force be with you;)

Even though I don’t own a canon eos R, i believe it could be the best smallest camera of canon. O wish to get my hands on it soon. Test it and conclude that it will be the best camera for me. Btw, how would that lens work with the 80d? I have a yongnou 35m f2 and i loved it, just the color of its picture is sometimes hit and miss, but its way better than using the kit lens, and this 20mm sigma 1.4, should be a lot better.
