We always loved when scout weapon teams came into are AO. "Hey, theres a hole 1600 meters north of your position". That means you get to look at a hole. Though we did love being on clean up detail after an Apache fired a hellfire at a target.

When he said the T-72 was on a reverse slope it was describing what is called "hull down" on a tank revetment. Always an ambush position. They use it a lot in desert environments because the terrain is so flat.
