Special thanks to 2 people who made this video possible:
1. For her incredible artwork at the start of the video, fiverr.com/tanyagut was responsible for creating beautiful scenes that I first dreamt of in my head and through her talent and labor allowed me to share my vision with you. I hope you all agree with me when I say I hope to showcase more of her work in future videos.
2. KrakenUnleashed was a man who came in for my rescue when I needed a War Thunder player with a MiG-15 to help me create scenes for this video. He probably spends more time in the War Thunder replay editor than I have hours in game total; and it both shows in his own work, and was of great help to make my video the best it could be, check him out and Kraken: Merci, mon ami. / @krakenunleashed
Some aircraft looks really good, but the Sabre... the F-86 Sabre is outright Suave. It's undeniably a war machine but it's somehow classy at the same time. It perfectly fits the chrome-lined golden age of Americana. The 50's style glimmers off of the Sabre like the show lights of a Frank Sinatra performance. I'm convinced this aircraft won air superiority over the skies of MiG Alley through sheer charisma alone. So please, let me tell you the very entertaining story of the F-86 Sabre in this video.
Okay talking as me now, Mr. Smith here. This video took a month longer to edit than the ones before it. I really hope it shows cause this was simultaneously the most frustrating video to work on but also the one I think it most entertaining to watch. I love video editing but I hate watching and listening to myself, every time I stutter on the mic or move in a weird way on camera or set the framing wrong just eats away at me. But it's thanks to the audience that I dropped more than $100 on this video without question because I knew that if you liked the videos I've brought you before, then I could make an even better one. I aim to entertain and nothing is more satisfying in the editing room than, after hours of sifting through photos and data and footage and editing effects, I get a scene that makes me think, "This is a good one".
It's not all some dumb self-pity that keeps me from editing, my day job has been INSANELY busy, and I'm looking to move across the county this winter so that is going to be wild. I'm sure only 4 people are gonna read this by then but... fair warning, the next videos will be different, and more than likely delayed as well.
