Great informational video. Thank you. A question if you please. Has anyone come up with an Air-to-Air missile seeker that that uses a visual lock like the Javelin Anti-Tank missile? This missile seeker once locked visually onto a target is immune to flares/chaff and most other counter measures.

We used to call a 1 Circle Fight a "min Radius Nose Position Fight" - also what happens after about 1 or two further reverses is rather a Scissor (flat or rolling) than another 1 Circle since the flight paths will flatten out more and more...taught BFM for more than a decade...same principles still apply...

Fox -1: Sparrow. Birds need to see their target in order to hit it. Fox -2: Sidewinder. Named after a snake, which can see thermal signatures. Fox-3: Pit-bull. If the dog runs too far away from the owner, it won't hear them. Dog will chase whatever target it sees on it's own.
@thunderboltcougar5626 Жыл бұрын
Lol that's pretty accurate analogy. As for the Sparrow. The owner need to direct it to the desired target/position, so the bird would fly to that position/target.

GS quality again. Having recently started DCS and watching videos, one thing I have noticed is that GS stresses survival far more than others. There are some that prefer the Charge ( with tactics ) and then respawn....... Provided limited respawns and aircraft, I believe GS wins a long campaign basically every time. Not sure about other Squadrons and what they prefer, nor have I joined ( or more appropriately - asked to join ) any Discord or Teams at this time, Prefer to learn a bit more first. GS has provided many great Videos and seriously increased that "rate". THANKS GS
