Bobby Valentino and Tony De Meur of beloved pre-new-wavers The Fabulous Poodles perform two of the band's favourite songs in an exclusive acoustic set at the Karma Sanctum Hotel.
This followed a Q&A with Andy Rawll from Decibel Report that delved into both musicians' past and discussed their eagerly anticipated reunion gig on 29th November 2019 at Nell's Jazz and Blues in West London.

Absolutely underrated! My second concert was Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers on the "Damn the Torpedoes" in 1980 here in Kansas City. I had two Poodles albums at the time and was as excited to see them as I was Petty. They had a massive pair of pink glasses over the drum kit (they were promoting the "Think Pink" album). They were so completely brilliant! The Poodles didn't disappoint that night, and what was really great is despite much of the crowd not knowing their music, when they left the stage you could hear many in the crowd asking others, "Who was THAT?!" They had won over the unsuspecting crowd! I still love their records! Still shocked that after those early live U.S. shows, the band didn't 'break' in this country. Mind-blowing...

Brilliant boys! Just found this after looking for the band. I only ever saw you once, Newcastle City Hall. Late 70s or early 80s? I left England mid-83 It says something that I can't remember who you were the support for. Groundhogs? Mirror Star has stuck in my head for 40 years and I often sing it in my head. Still got my vinyl albums. I haven't dragged out a disc in yonks. Going searching for CDs now Hope there are more performances. Thank you
