I love this version, because the 1975s version sounds very angry and rebellious, but this version sounds desperate and saying "I'd Love If We Made It" not just for society, but for many other things. Such as personal fights, or hard relationships, or personal goals and so on. I don't know how to explain it, this version sounds like it's say "Let Us Be Victorious" and the original is saying "Wake Up We Need To Solve Some Problems." I don't know if this is just me.

I know this is late, but the 1975 version isn't angry....It's desperate. It's about addiction and the fact Matty didn't know if he was gonna get out of the shit he was in. And he did. That's why this song is amazing, it's a good cover but it isn't a patch on the original.
