"We don't see the extraordinary simplicity of life - of facts, rather" - Krishnamurti. For those struggling to grasp Krishnamurti's insights on "nothingness," I suggest re-listening with an open and receptive mind. His message challenges our deep-rooted belief that we are a fixed, solid "self." To be nothing doesn't mean we cease to exist. Rather, it points to letting go of the perpetual mental process of defining and becoming a separate entity from life itself. As Krishnamurti explains, this illusion of a separate self is what creates endless psychological conflict and suffering through its cravings, attachments, and fears. When he says we are "nothing" or "no-thing," he means our true nature is not found in the accumulated content of the mind - the memories, knowledge, beliefs we desperately cling to. To be nobody is to be free from the boundaries and bondage created by thought. From this spacious awareness, an entirely new way of perceiving and being emerges. No longer enslaved by the constant restless becoming of the ego-mind, we can be totally present and responsive to the undivided whole of life.

And how does that end the suffering of the world? It continues, the wars, the extortion and everything, I just become detached or indifferent or blind to it
@Brainteaser56396 ай бұрын
It's not your alone he is asking to become nothing, it's everyone. Everyone's in an attempt to become what the knowledge the though assumes to be it causes most of the human suffering. We are all being reminded that if we have amnesia, we would respond to life differently. If we choose to see that we are activated by our memories just because we do not have amnesia and the outcome is so sorrowful, then we must look into what is going on with us. Nature is going thru most of the things we go thru, and it dies not, for example, take arms, we are nature and therefore part of landscape. This means less conflict as we are not becoming anything outside nature. My take. It's tough to see what Krishnamurti sees, but I like it, and I have looked at others, helping me understand what l8fe is about, such as Manly P Hall, C Jung, Nietszche, Allan Watts, Christ , Robert on on the matters of the will and and while they spit bars of what sounds great, Jiddu Krishnurmurti challenges me more by asking to become no thing and as mother of seven making this a mission is tough.

What about if you have physical pain
@siewkonsum72917 ай бұрын
@@arshsunam8412 If you are suffering a physical pain it is a natural happening or an unpredictable happening. If it is bodily pain, to act then go see a physician. If it is psychological, then go see a psychiatrist. If you feel hunger eat, thirsty drink, tired rest, so on & so forth. All of these are "nothing" is apparently appearing to happen or is happening. Fundamentally it is 'nothing' but to act overcome it with a sense of no self - which is the case when the false sense of a personal separate & egoic self in the individual has been vanquished. When I try to explain to others when you become nothing you are everything , every tree every flower every animal every sound every vibration . They do not grasp this concept and they say I am somebody . They think being nothing is being worthless . They need their ego , their bad childhood, their medical problems, their suffering , their being miserable , their being alone, their being poor their being not in control of anything . The empty mind is the free mind , free to be everything , to enjoy everything as if you were a baby again , seeing everything for the first time in wonder . How can nothing, see the everything that supposedly appears? It takes something, to experience everything. Individual, pure conscious does exist, as we are all made in the image of God, the supreme conscious Personality of Godhead. We have nothing to do with the material elements and identification that keep us in illusion, but that doesn't mean we are nothing when those are stripped away. According to Bhagavad Gita, we are all external fragmental, conscious, parts and parcels of Godhead/Creator/Source.

Secondly, zero lies in the centre, having positive numbers on one side and the negative numbers on the other.
