Season 4, Episode 23 'Graduation: Part 1' - In the days leading up to graduation, Mrs. Garrett becomes overworked because Mr. Parker has put her in charge of the entire ceremony, while Tootie worries whether she'll see Blair and Jo again. Meanwhile, Jo, who has to give the class valediction, is under additional pressure because of her parents' fighting, while Blair's father is unable to come to the ceremony, making her mother angry.
Season 4, Episode 24 'Graduation: Part 2' - Before Jo and Blair graduate, Tootie and Natalie want to preserve as much time with them as possible, still fearing they'll never be together again. Meanwhile Jo's father tries to mend a rift with her mother.

About The Facts of Life: At the Eastland School in Peekskill, New York, Edna Garrett (Charlotte Rae) oversees the day-to-day lives of students who come from all walks of life. Whether it's the challenges posed by Eastland's academic and social scenes, the rise, fall and rebirth of the businesses they start and run together, or the comings and goings of new faces in school and town, including Edna's replacement (and sister) Beverly Ann Stickle (Cloris Leachman), the girls are always ready for a new challenge, and perceptive enough to learn from each new situation.

Well, I grew up in the 80s and enjoyed these shows - AND my parents showed and told me stories about what they watched in the 60s and I enjoyed those shows, AND my grandparents showed me the movies they watched and taught me the songs from them and I loved them too.... There's no reason why we can't pass on what we watched to the next generation.

no matter how many times I watch jo and blair's graduation it tears 😢 me up. it reminds me of my high school graduation eight years after this episode aired, saying good bye to friends i had the pleasure of knowing for 13 years.

Nancy was the best looking girl on the show. Tootie was next IMO. Blair? Very pretty but she was unattainable to regular suitors and that's a turn off to this regular guy.

So my theory is that Emily, first seen at 1:50, is actually played by Pamela Cohn. She looks and sounds like Mindy. And they miscredited her.
