I knew some guys like Roy. Didn't know the meaning of "no" and "I don't do romantic relationships". I wouldn't say they were creeps, but they definitely insisted on having me as their girlfriend, something I never wanted to do with anyone.

Poor Roy. He was always the stooge of the show; always a comic relief clown that Jo put down and humiliated all the time. It's too bad he never graduated to a regular. Even Skippy on Family Ties had more dimensions than this.

I loved this show. But the Roy and Jo aspect has aged badly and was never funny. A man ignoring a woman’s repeated “no” isn’t funny.
