The facts of life was my all time favorite show from the 80’s , I grew up watching this show and it became my absolute favorite show. I loved all the characters from this show, ( Mrs Garret , Blair , Natalie , Tootie , Jo ) . Jo was my favorite character of all, she had that tough girl image that you just didn’t want to mess with her . I am glad that I can watch this show to this day on DVD . I have the entire box set .

Oh how I miss these times.. miss all these old shows like bewitched, Jennifer’s place, growing pains, silver spoons, gimme a break, it’s a living, threes company, Etc etc the list goes on. Sad those days are gone but feel so privileged that I got to be a part of it.

I loved this show when it was originally on, and I still love it today! It’s so gentle and easy to watch, and it just makes you feel good inside to see people so kind and loving towards each other. We sure don’t live in this world anymore!

FOL, alongside of different Strokes, Good Times, Sanford and Son and countless other classics from the 70's and 80's have kept tv alive. This was a once in a lifetime and I'm glad I was part of it.

Good episode of a fine show, that tackled a lot of tough subjects . There was an episode on s**cide, several on divorce, death of a favorite teacher, deciding when to lose v*rg**ity, all the big issues for young people.

In this instance, it gives some sort of context to the age the person was when this show was on tv, either through syndication reruns in the 90s or during its original airing.

This was the last great season of FOL imo. Once it went to pastel and Over Our Heads and Jo lost her ponytail AND Bronx accent it went south fast. Love seasons 2-5 tho

So Roy also appeared in the Edna's Edibles era. That means he spanned 3 eras - Eastland Cafeteria, Edna's Edibles, and Over Our Heads. It was only in the final era that Jo was not nasty to him.

People here kept mentioning Over Our Heads and I had no idea what it meant. I had to look it up. Apparently I stopped watching at that time and/or blocked it from my memory! Sounds like that was a good decision!
