I can't get enough of this. The metaphor of the orchestral dissonance in the first part, the fade, Tim's gorgeous vocal............sublime. Even his quick sideways glance at some feedback, briefly annoyed at the marring of his goal of a perfect performance. What a lovely human.

Or was it feedback? Purposeful?

Heard for the first time today - this morning. I sobbed on the way to work and I’ve listened to it multiple times and cried each and every time. When I’m paid after this week everything not budgeted I’ll donate for this amazing song. 2 year late to the party but it’s amazing and clever and illustrative. Shut up and take my money. Paid as promised - it’s not much but it’s all I can spare.

Unbelievably good cause and well played. But when will they stop autotuning beautiful voices like Tim's? Imperfection is beauty.

Sounds like Myasthenia Gravis disease. My mother has MG and it essentially paralyzes your muscles and since your diaphragm and heart are muscles... yeah.

0:58... the horns are so copulating out of tune it is not funny at all...!!!
@pernordin26414 жыл бұрын
Up to 1:20... Sorry, most of the whole orchestra is out of tune. The flutes are abysmal. I am a degree holding piano tuner with highest degree from the Royal Academy of Music of Sweden, just to pause your knee-jerk reactions. I simply can't listen more. Sorry. (The grand is in fairly well tune). Frank Zappa commented about his use of a Synclavier that after working the the LSO it is no surprise composer prefer computers over the likes of such musicians. This just hurts my ears, however I love Tim and the simple but effective arrangement... an out of tune orchestra is ... well, just painful.

I am so glad someone else picked up on that, Although this song is hauntingly beautiful that 1 second is horrendous bad

Jacqui Espin I am so glad you put this reply because I had missed the point. It’s the orchestra braking down similar to the effects of mnd. Seems so simple when it’s pointed out
