The Fairey Gannet a one of a kind warbird! : EAA AirVenture 2014

During its active service, the Fairey Gannet typically operated with three crew members: one pilot and two watchful aerial observers.
The Gannet stood out with its smartly designed internal bomb bay in the fuselage. It was the first British aircraft in Fleet Air Arm service to store all its munitions internally, except for rockets.

We need this Fairey Gannet at The Royal International Air Tattoo in RAF Fairford in 2025, Amazing aircraft and would be Nice to see it at (RIAT) the world's largest military air show & it would make all the photographers extremely happy.

I agree...this would be the decider for me to go to next years RIAT..it needs something really different....i was some what disappointed by this years show...not seen a Gannet since the early 80s at RNAS Daedalus...👍👍

There are plans to ship her back to the UK soon and it is hoped that she will be operated by the Navy Wings Heritage Flight based at RNAS Yeovilton

@@alexanderwalley2639- Love some Drumstick action ! I fly mine quite often. Unfortunately mine is powered by a ducted fan and will fit in the back of my Chrysler Voyager. I can go downtown anytime I want though ! 😁
