This composition and artist are simply from another level where language is insubordinate, to say nothing of its insufficiency, in its attempts to capture the awe, the tension, the gaze through your soul that was delivered 13 years ago when the belfry breezes swept the artist's hair from her eyes to stare..........

I just found this post from 9 years ago. Absolutely stunning music and performance. I am about to embark on my own electric cello journey and wonder about the amplification. Looks like you're running into both a bass amp and an acoustic guitar amp. Is that right? Thanks much.

Hi Steve, congratulations on starting your journey! Yes, a bass amp and guitar amp back then, but these days I DI unless in the studio, as I have very good effects from BOSS and can make the 'space' in the sound that I prefer, albeit digitally. It makes travel and touring much easier. I wish you the very best! Jo

Thanks Jo. I appreciate your response. Your Boss unit makes sense for gigging. But the sound of analog is so seductive to me.
