Was going to post that quote he made re Kurt Cobain, something like "I can understand why he did it, shit manager, mental wife, crap band" but it appears to have disappeared from the internet. I miss him.

As an American, one thing I always liked about Brix was that she never affected even a hint of an English accent. Nothing against any flavor of accent from the U.K., but I can't stand poseurs who think they sound more sophisticated by faking one.

Oh my goodness I can't believe how skinny Brix is in this clip...bless her...this can't have been long before they split up. EDIT: Jesus I just realised that the interviewer is "Gaz Top" from my childhood, I've forgotten his real last name. Didn't recognise him with the crow-black hair.

@@telophasemusic I read her memoir when it came out, hence the comment. Only just saw the video footage when I made the first comment. Pretty sure every Fall fan has read The Rise The Fall And The Rise, mate. Us Fall fans have got to be one of the worst band fan bases in existence, don't you agree?

Mark was a master at skirting questions he didn't want to answer ! Brix was in a really poor state physically and mentally at this point , which coincided with probably the only time in the fall's long history when they had a reasonable degree of commercial success and national exposure, which is ironic as they had just released their worst album to date (frenz Experiment). The Adult Net was destined to flop unfortunately.

The only reason I keep listening to The Fall is because of the musicians in the band.. Marks lyrics continue to change but the music is the only reason I love to back, time and time again.. ALL HAIL BRIX!! Fucking Ledge *_* xxx

Hey steady mate.. It takes a lot of time to become a good artist like Markee Mark and the funky bunch. It took my uncle Joe 57 years to sing like Mark Smith, but now uncle Joe is 73 years old he stands on the stage in his black piss soaked Farah trousers after 12 pints of Guiness and he sings Karaoke so bad that people actually think they are at Glastonbury watching a live Fall gig !
