It’s actually quite tragic after you watch the HBO special. I knew she was a fruitloop, who went power mad and then lust mad over Joe Lara who seemed unhinged himself. He looked unstable to me, even when he was young. He had that unhinged look in his eyes. Then I found about who he was and it started making sense. But then you hear the stories of how many she hurt, including her ex husband and tragically her own children. Her son is talented and I hope he finds himself and is free now. And her daughter looks like a Skelton. And then you see what her and Joe did to his girlfriend and other peoples marriages who left the cult, it’s just heartbreaking. The one guy who had cancer and was injured who was losing his ranch to her lawyers made me so sad. I hope he kept it now they are gone. And the abuse the kids in the cult and even murder that happened. It just wants to make you cry. I heard the cult is falling apart, and I only hope it’s true.

I'm late to the party, but here are some historical facts on the trinity: Math 28:19 - was altered in 325AD by the Nicean Council. They added the words "...,go, and make taught ones (diciples) of all the nations, baptising them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit." The Nicean Council, catholic church, in 14th Century created the "trinity." The original hebrew/greek says, "Therefore, go teach them to guard all that I commanded you. And see, I am with you always, until the ends of the age. Amen." Original text on baptism from earliest historical writing. John 3:5 Truly, Truly, I say to you, unless one is born of the water, and spirit he is unable to enter the reign of God." 1 john 5:6-8 was really messed up by the Nicean council. They added the whole line about the father. The Original 7. Because there are three who bear witness, 8. the Spirit, and the Water, and the Blood. And the three are in agreement. So, the whole argument about the trinity is based on man-made lies, pokitical motivation of the times, and has NOTHING to do with salvation or damnation. People do not research to find the original text often. But many of your altered bibles have the additional changes in the footnotes. God is One. Not three. Messiah is God's son. Holy Spirit is the supernatural spirit of God that communicates with His children to guide them. It's not an "entity or human."

She convinced a ton of WD members to move to Brentwood, TN and help her start the Remnant Fellowship. She positioned herself as a direct channel to God & created a whole new community/denomination/CULT. Weirdest of all, her husband of over 25 years was overweight and never endorsed her new religion. Not too long ago she landed the Tarzan actor, Lara is it? the 1st husband was divorced/further erased.... it seems all of her kids are followers though. When you embrace this notion, you embrace Catholicism. Luther was more interested in the abuse of power by the Priests, rather than their theological errors. So modern Protestants are stuck with many erroneous Catholic concepts. Do some research, and you will become unstuck. Even so, where in the Bible does is say Jesus is God?

Imho, if GSL had one redeeming quality, it was her nullification of Trinitarianism. Trinitarianism is an abject repudiation of the non-dualism that was Yeshua (Jesus). Trinitarianism was foisted upon Christianity by committee, at the First Council of Nicaea in 325 CE, when Arius, a powerful and popular bishop of the eastern church, and the last true (non-dualistic) Christian, was excommunicated for his heretical beliefs. Trinitarianism does not make sense, and Gwen had the good sense to call BS. I regret that she did not go further and deeper to oppose the darkness of Calvinism and American fundamentalism. 7:54 “Without the understanding of the Trinity, you cain’t make sense out of Christianity.” BS! Why did the early church survive 300 years before the trinity was invented?

Biblical teaching says that heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are two separate beings. You can take scriptures out of context to try and show that they are one mystical being, but if you take the Bible as a whole, The Trinity is in no way supported biblically. The mainstream Christian view of the Trinity came long after the death of the original apostles, when the teachings of Christ's original church were being corrupted. The ancient church fathers did not teach the Trinity. Ancient documents show they taught that God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the holy Spirit are three distinct beings.

2 John , verses 9-11 says not to endorse false teaching, or else you share in their evil deeds. using the diet program would mean you are promoting what she is promoting, and one of the things she is promoting is teaching that is against the Trinity, which teaching against the Trinity is false teaching. So therefore, you would share in their evil deeds by letting them in, receiving them, endorsing them, giving them money, promoting them , encouraging them on in their evil way ( teaching against the Trinity). The Trinity is a core essential doctrine that cannot be compromised with. Jehovah Witness , Mormons etc. don't teach the Trinity either. There is One God and He is eternally existent in 3 entities: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
