thanks cid, i used 4k 30fps and slowed it down in davinci to 24fps, davinci was not happy about this hehehe.

thanks, yeah its something i enjoy a lot, in the trees and for exploring impossible spots. took a long time to master it though. also... i slowed down this footage 20% but the opening dive....... it was super slow at normal speed, i could not say why its so slow, i have a 10deg cam angle and i just willed the quad not to speed up in the dive hehehe

thanks, had a bit of nightmare on saturday night, realised on the train i'd left a gopro filming me at the falls, then got home to find my new nd filter had lots of refletions completely spoiling the image..... got up 8am sunday and humphed myself quickmarching all the way to the falls, to find my camera sitting there where i left it hehehe. then went on to fly the rest of the river, even getting down onto the riverbed for some really nice shots, then onto to the viewpoints for the lest falls.... spent aall day today trying to find an edit and some music, so hard.

@@jimthorleydronefootage yeah i got lucky, crowds were leaving as i arrived, sun was perfectly in line with the big falls, bit miffed my nd filter has a tiny flaw, had a great day out though, i flew the lower falls at the mill too, had the mill to myself except for a woman from dublin who i chatted with. was a bit surprised at how well the lower falls look on camera, i flew up the falls then back down the other side of the little island and popped over the trees dived down beside the mill to fly low and fast back up to the falls. theres not much for fpv in the mill itself.

hehe thanks, when the lights this cool even a quick scout around looks good. was shocked how good the mill falls looked in fpv, didnt think any lines there would be any good. might try again next week.

@@johnnymac26 yeah i just didnt have the legs on the day, or the batteries hehehe i know theres a canyony bit after the first falls but i think its only flyable from the river bed, it might be overgrown, so i need to get in there before the leaves come back.

nice one Mac! You probbably already know I'm not the biggest fan of cinematic 24fps ;) I'd at least avoid heavy panning shots and just use straight flying over this really beautiful falls. greets, Mario

thanks , yeah i've never been a fan of it, but i only have hero 6's and this is 4k 30fps which i slowed down 20% ..... took soooo long to trick davinci to export it smoothly lolol about 10 attempts hehehe. and thats a flaw on my nd filter not a splash, bummer, it kinda lasted well though . i would shoot at high frame rate all the time if i could, i was only here to scout the place, only have 3 batteries right now, so i'm quite surprised by the shots and even the flying went well, flying over waterfalls is a bit like flying in the wind, usually.

thanks, i used davinci resolve free version. i used 4k 30fps gopro and put it on a 24fps timeline in editor, then slowed down footage to 24fps (80%)
