I love the detail Gabe mentioned about bringing a new OC NFL style and bringing his players with him is important. Nailed it 💎

First of all, thank you both for the great job you do with these videos. Gabe while maybe not the biggest or most talented was one of my favorite linemen when he was with OU. Always played smart and with excellent technique. Honestly, I was surprised he didn’t get into coaching. I could see him in the NFL as an assistant.

Love yalls channel, good stuff. Have one constructive criticism, put your guest on one side and you guys on the other. Makes it easier on the guest so they don’t have to look back and forth to talk to both of you. But great Channel

Been saying need more QB under center for past couple of years… Bradford on ‘08 was under center some and the play action off center was fantastic with Murray, Brown and Madu

Getting a pension without a long term contract is impressive. Sounds like he has that IQ that teams valued. Not sure why folks attack Gabe. He's a fantastic program guy, smart and never BS's us

How do we expect guys to play with confidence when bill benches players 5 times a game? BV finding a OC that will keep bill around would be a huge mistake

The reason the talent on the OL is terrible is because of the same coach you are discussing. The portal has been a disaster for BB…he pick them. It’s amazing other programs (wither better offenses) around the country start frosh at OL. Seems like those OL coaches somehow get their young players ready to start. It’s on the coach to get them ready.

I think Oklahoma has talent but the Art Briles' system is simple but the offensive line assignments are not being executed. To get a pro-style is a new start over, implementation of the new system, and can Bill Bedenbaugh coach anything but Lincoln Riley's version of the Air Raid, just saying.
@RylzMunkister23 күн бұрын
... what? He pre-dated Riley, did a great job. Riley's offense changed a lot from 2015 to 2021. Still developed lineman afterwards.
@carvanok422623 күн бұрын
@RylzMunkister Yes Bill Bedenbaugh predated Riley but that was his best work under the Riley Air Raid

BV needs to play the elite monsters (recruits) wasting away on the sidelines instead of continuing to play these mediocre players (upperclassmen) on both sides of the ball. As far as TE's they need to let Kaden Helms and Kade McIntyre go in and see what they can do.

Sark is able to attract guys like arch because he runs an NFL time and has spent time in the NFL running Kyle shanahans offense and brought a lot of concepts to college

Texas also has all the money in the world and the PR. They are Texas, a big market team. They have always out recruited OU and prolly will to continue to do so.
@Zachhwilliamssssss24 күн бұрын
@ yet they were not recruiting nearly as well on the offensive side with Herman. If Herman was there he would never get arch. Arch wants to play in a pro style offense

I just don't get how they fire Seth after half a season when Bill has had years to build this offensive line and they are a big reason why Seth got fired.
@aaronchandler394724 күн бұрын
Bill has been here for years, developing talent on the o-line. Yes the line is not playing well this season. If you remember last year, Bill put together a decent oline from a rag tag group of guys. My opinion: should have looked for a big tome OC hire last year when we lost Lebby. We settled for the in house, safe hire and stuck out. Time to get back to the plate and battle for a good Ab. Coach V is in a battle to keep his job now. Hate to see it but it’s the way it is.
@samtodd139023 күн бұрын
Seth had no real plan for this offense. A hodge podge of different systems that just didn’t mesh.
