That upright bass line in Howl is nuts and this is the clearest I’ve ever heard just about any of the instruments. The flute runs in Beneath the Brine (I think) are another piece I’d never heard clearly before. Whoever balanced the audio mix did such a good job, I can hear pretty much every instrument and voice perfectly through one another and it’s so cool to be able to hear the pieces that usually fall into the background of studio versions. Also the whispering in Howl.

Within the first 20 seconds, I was blown away. We need to spread the word about this band.

Still coming back to watch this occasionally. One of the few videos that have a good enough audio mix to do these guys justice. Thank you Audiotree and FC!

Fabulous band! A Force Of Nature! Thanks for introducing TFC to me back in 2014 when you first hosted them.

He hits those high notes in the range of Buckley and Gnecco! The sound is fresh yet has roots in all genres.

Such fantastic musicians and this is a spectacular song. Love it. A great visual performance. A joy to watch (even though I should love such excruciating sadness in lyrics)!

Funny they say they were going to quit! Inspiration from threat of ending. Plus St Paul and Broken Bones lead was an accountant than switched to his music (awesome energy group like The Family Crest)

These folks...wow! Absolutely incredible! Get the word out on these guys. How do they only have 4310 views?

The balance on this recording is much better than on NPR's tiny desk. It is more easily palatable here. If you want to make a dish with this many intense ingredients, you need to make sure it is cooked properly so the flavors gel. Cheers. Too bad you ruined the experience with ads in the middle of the song.

I actually disagree :D I personally prefer the NPR tiny desk! His voice comes out much more prominently on there But eh. It's personal preference in the end

absolutely amazing group. saw live at Turf Club in Minneapolis this year, as fantastic their recordings are, their live show is even more fantastic. Wish they put out their live recordings for purchase, hope they come back next year with the new album. Their version of Chandelier is a great parallel version of the already great original. @Sia, wish you would craft a song for these guys. Show less REPLY

What an incredible performance! My only complaint would be that the violinist needs to get a little closer to his microphone, I can't hear him clearly :( Love this band
