If you're anything like me you probably didn't see it because sitcoms are easier to put into syndication and reruns. Variety shows are a different horse. But I could also be entirely wrong. The point is, there's no shame in being introduced to something later. Celebrate that you found it at all!

I wish people would stop making up rumors of actors behind the scenes, as that's all it is..rumors. And doesn't matter if it's true, it has nothing to do with their work,or a show. Lucille Ball did not have a huge ego, stop making up lies. They were two entirely different shows. For one, Burnett show as a sketch comedy show. Ball show was a sitcom. There's always a protagonist, central character in any kind of show with a storyline. Fred and Ethel got plenty of exposure, but they were supporting cast. So sick of know it all, liars who love to spread lying gossip on the net. Get a life, don't use celebrities lives for your own.

what rock have you been hiding under these many yrs....frawley/vance not getting along is old,old,old news going back mny moons....gonna even provide the reported reason.....when vance originally discovered her on air bubby was gonna be played by frawley...she was livid...the primary reason she was upset was the 22 yr age difference...what she dnt realize during her venting was that frawley was within ear shot....frawley was the type to hold a grudge n also the type to not hide it.....when the desilu comedy hour rapped...frawley and vance were offered a spin off show frawley immediately accepted while vance immediately declinded...her reason was 2fold...A) the hostility btwn she and frawley..B) absent of the ricardo's the mertz r just no that interesting...and her statement was dead on.....before you clap back with condensation the attached link confirms my statement (mentalfloss.com/article/18082/4-famous-tv-co-workers-who-struggled-get-along)...

At the beginning of the sketch, the front window can be seen and it says "ACME HARDWARE." Ed tells the lady customer, "Welcome to CENTRAL HARDWARE." He also tells her later that she'll have to go to ACME HARDWARE for an item that he doesn't carry. Just something I noticed.
