They all do it. In one of the last few Ken made a comment about a song on the soundtrack for the movie as well. And remember a while back when Kristian or Mark I think it was started to hum the Back to the Future theme on a question where BttF was the answer? In general they need to develop rules for and crack down on banter. A simple rule for just making your banter about previous questions only would really help. I get the point of the banter, but it's just another element of the show that they keep not fixing despite wanting to be taken seriously as a sports entertainment league.

Those two movies had his most well known song tie-ins, and with one being a bomb and the other a hit, it's pretty easy to use that to figure the answer. I will say, the coverage on SEN for weeks told me exactly what was going to happen and I'm pretty pissed about it. Everyone's been talking about how Bibbiani has the chance to play 3 times but literally never did anyone mention Bateman. I tried to hype myself up for a different ending but this was absolutely telegraphed, especially in Frank's recent by the numbers preview of Spectacular. Really, really bummed I've known this for that long.

Things are casually spoiled all the time and It's getting kind of annoying, I agree. It's getting to the point where I don't even want to watch any sort of previews of upcoming Schmoedown matches. Kristian spoiled the outcome of Padding Two vs Evil Geniuses because when he was talking about the match he forgot who the Padding Two was playing. I also think Kalinowski spoiled who loses in Shazam vs the winner of today's match based on his reaction to KOrupption playing this team in January on Schmoedown Backstage. Frank also spoiled Rocha vs Erwin on the Rundown a couple months back, and there was numerous instances on Collider Live when things were spoiled. Bateman also never mentioned having a chance at winning the team titles unless prompted, he only spoke about singles. I hate to rant because I love the Schmoedown like it is an actual sport, but when things get spoiled it totally sucks. I really hope they tighten that up. Like you said it's hard to get hype about these matches when you have a strong inkling about the outcome.

We could go as far as to say Atchity completely changed the Schmedown Time Continuum by what he did. If he didn't speak up.. there would be an alternative time line where Either Whose the Boss or Paddington 2 are facing against Shaazam, and that might just give us a different winner of the tournament finals, and even a different winner at Spectacular.. which could mean a team or two like Whose the Boss, Padington 2, or even Shazam would end up not being protected when in the other time line they would of!

That was a great match! Another real good competitive back and forth one here. Loved seeing Ghai and Ben go toe to toe in terms of the antics as well, this is really what you wanted in a civil war matchup between these guys. Everybody at the table seemed really committed to the competition as well so you could really feel that playoff atmosphere in this match. Bit of a messy road to get here but my finals matchup was correctly predicted at least! And now all i need is for Shazam! to take this next match and my bracket won't have been too bad afterall. More than anything though i'm hyped for this next match because it should be a real heavyweight bout.
