Thanks for the kind words bru. Even on the odd occasion when the fishing is slow there, just being in that environment is enough to keep us going back for more!

I enjoyed seeing a Scarborough in action.

There's not much better than hopping between the rocks with a light rod and a Scarborough.

Lovely video tks. Exactly where is this place in the Transkei? How far is it from PSJ ? tks bro👍
@FishingSouthAfrica Жыл бұрын
Thanks bru. It's between Hole in the Wall and Mpame. A decent distance away from PSJ but it should be around a 3 hour drive.

That's fishing.... Good vid bro What fly rod are you using bro..
@FishingSouthAfrica Жыл бұрын
Thanks bro, glad you enjoyed it. It's an Elbe fly rod, if I'm not mistaken, and quite a few years old as well.

Thanks for the video Please teach your wife to wait for a bite before she reels in. Noticed as soon as she casts she starts reeling ...
@fightnightgaming2903 Жыл бұрын
I also do that because while im reeling the fish bites and gets hooked its a good strategy
@FishingSouthAfrica Жыл бұрын
Hi Umika, thanks for picking that up, I'll let her know... She's not used to fishing with a drift trace, especially in a big sea
@FishingSouthAfrica Жыл бұрын
That works really well for Shad/Elf when fishing a drift sardine. They get hooked as soon as they bite😄

Thanks! Will do! We get a similar fish on our coastline. However we call them Pompano
@xtreme-fishers6418 Жыл бұрын
@@FishingSouthAfrica yes we caught those as well they are very similar ,3 types pampano, permit and palmito
@FishingSouthAfrica Жыл бұрын
@@xtreme-fishers6418 okay that's really interesting. On our coastline, we only get the one specie, the real name would be African/Southern Pompano
