Good comment, and I’m a Rangers fan. I totally get Celtic fans having a laugh - let’s face it, Rangers’ performance was embarrassing. But reading some of the comments here - be careful what you wish for. If Rangers go down the tubes and there’s no Version 3.0, who will some of these posters turn their fire on? I remember when Rangers went down the leagues a decade or so ago, I knew some Celtic fans who wanted Rangers back up. It was boring without them - one guy I knew got to the stage he was leaving Celtic Park at half-time because it was already game over against ICT (or whoever) and the league was a foregone conclusion by October. So, aye, good comment, and I don’t grudge Celtic fans their gloat (but hope it doesn’t last too long 😂).

I definitely think it's important to support scottish football where we can to keep it going as it's more than a game, there's a good community and social aspect to it as well but the idea of a two team league every season is boring. When a few teams went down to the first division it obviously wasn't ideal but definitely made it more exciting as multiple teams could win the league. There definitely needs to be more funding and more of the scottish football games domesticly and internationaly on the TV as that would increase more funding and eyeballs of scottish football. I'm hopeful that scottish football can get even better as well.

Maybe the fans should do some introspection. It’s their ridiculous expectation levels and sense of superiority created by the BOS overdraft success of the 90s that helps impede the progress of Rangers*. The board seem terrified of them and are always trying to placate them and getting forced into rash and hurried decisions. Perhaps if the fans eased off for a while it would allow breathing space for the club to actually sort itself out instead of always trying to run before it can crawl.
