Jane, I love to move stuff around too,I move furniture in my house my husband often wonders if he’s come home to the wrong house,lol. I’ve done this since being young,my sisters and I used to change things around to surprise my Mum when she got home from work and she loved it.It just refreshes things and it makes you notice things again that have disappeared because they have been there so long.

Hi Jayne, I'm so glad I watched your vlog as even though I was one of the pattern testers for the Fantail shirt I'd completely forgotten it could be made in a woven fabric too! I made one in sweatshirting which I loved wearing to the gym (back when we could go).

Loved your vlog today even the sickest cat incident 😳 and I know all about cat hairs on fabric too 😉 I found The Sewing Revival a couple of years ago and made the Kingfisher Top which is very comfy. I do like this one and a few dresses too! Unfortunately I seem to be collecting patterns and fabric much easier than getting anything made ☹️ but hopefully I will get back into sewing soon. I am now going to look at your crochet jumper pattern 😍

To be honest, in skeptical of the color wheel thing as it pertains to each of us. However, I think it is ideal for seeing how colors go with each other. Like you always say, it's a great reference and starting point. Therefore, I have to say that I just love the duck egg blue on you and in general! It is truly lovely! I love your channel!!! 💕

Just love that top and the fabric and like you, am not so keen on the wider necklines, but as a new sewist am not sure how to amend them. Would love to see how you would do that in a tutorial. Love that you’re from my neck of the woods too, north east! Marie x

Just take a tape measure and your pinned out pattern pieces and add say a cm or two all around the neckline with chalk on your fabric before cutting out.

Beautiful top Jayne, it really suits you. I love a dipped hem too. Aww what a shame about your fabric! Hope the stain comes out. At first I thought you were going to say the cat had played with it and ripped it to shreds! Xx

Ha Ha yes I keep moving my sewing room round too ! so glad it's not just me !. Your top looks lovely and such a beautiful colour . I ventured onto the Stoff &Stil web site the other day ! Needless to say I ordered some fabric lol. But have you tryed there mood board ? you can put fabrics on there and match them up ! hours of fun lol ( Of course you can also put them in your basket from there too ! ) Didn't realise you did crochet too what a beautiful jumper . so now off to check that vlog .
