Afternoon at the Tailor really does sound a very evocative name for a soap.

@@FriendshipShaving when I first created the soaps it was two collections. The first was based around locations you could expect to see a 'gentleman' at play : Portofino, Capri, St Moritz for instance. But then I hit on the idea of 'a day in the life of a gentleman' too. So he starts off at his Barber, then off to the Tailor followed by spending some time at the Club and then....a Night Out. Currently Club is missing from the line up since we arrived back in the UK but I've found a suitable fragrance. So its only a matter of when not if it becomes available !! :)

What a crazy story about almost loosing an eye over a razor you are very lucky indeed but you have some beautiful razors there!!!! Great shave and looks like a nice edge you have there

Oh, I was so lucky it didn't hit me in the eye! and certainly thanked all my lucky stars! It just goes to show how careful one has to be, all the time when working with machinery. I hope you are enjoying your day.

I was nine years off on the foundation of the razor producer. You definitely flirted with disaster and came out surprisingly lucky in being unhurt. Good call on the face protection. Wishing you and your mum(a swift recovery) a great weekend, Mark.

You were lucky Mark with that incident. I work in aerospace engineering and is fully aware of injuries caused by not wearing safety specs. I think a full face visor is best for any work on a spindle. Great shave though! Take care of yourself.

I surely was lucky, Nick! I have the full face visor now, even though it does steam up a little bit, I do feel much safer! My dad was an engineer and, had he been here, wouldn't have let me go near that with protection, I'm sure. All the best mate 👍

Nice smooth looking shave Mark and interesting history of Puma, i was way out on the date. Wow definitely use the visor or goggles, 3000rpm send off objects like a bullet!! Have a great weekend!
