Apr. 13, 2024 Mr. George's farm is looking great with all the new improvements. I like the idea of knocking down the shed over by the campground and building either another shed or possibly a covered silage bunker like the one that was torn down. Please leave the horses where they are. Ms. Beanie can spend time with them and keep an eye on them during the day while she's taking care of the piglets and calves. There's nothing worse than not being able to be around your horses. I had to board my last 2 at various stables and it was NOT a good experience for either the horses or myself. Too many things can go wrong and believe you me, they did. Finally had to give them away (I had them at separate times) just so they could be loved and looked after the way they deserved. I noticed a couple comments about moving the horses to the new house (which I'm sure you're going to get) and that would be an okay situation " IF " someone was going to be home all day, but that's not the case. I prefer to have them at the farm so Ms. Beanie can be with them as much as possible. But that's just my opinion. I'm over the moon that Mr. Keith is coming home. I will continue to pray for a complete and speedy recovery until he is given the " all clear" by the doctors. Mr. Keith touches a special place in my heart. Congratulations Mr. Scroft on selling your land to Mr. Ross and congratulations to you and Ms. Beanie on being able to put a deposit down on a home of your own. It's a great feeling but also a huge responsibility. I know the two of you can handle it with no problem. Congratulations to Mr. Ross and a great big Thank you to Mr Gerry, Mr. Scroft and Mr. George for helping Mr. Ross get the land behind the pub cleared off and leveled. It's nice when life goes good for everyone. It's a wonderful way to start my weekend. Please give EVERYONE a huge HUG for me and give the horses some extra oats. Thank you and Take care.

If you buy the house why not see if you can build some stables in the shed and rent/buy a bit off Keith and take down a bit of the hedge and make a small pasture behind the house

@@Scroft 😅 nice answer. I guess i was hoping for one of your innovative builds mate was hoping for an interiored house where the immersion would continue to deepen, could have started with a house tour and grew on from there. I was very surprised that you chose to have the house on a different map tho i will say that. Was expecting you to stay within the limits of court farm plenty of opportunity within the map to have a house for you and beanie with ease. All being said tho mate still a fantastic series and i will continue to eagerly watch with anticipation for as long as you decide to produce it 😁

Honestly should knock the stables and the other building down and put a bunker down to get rid of the dead spot between the stable and workshop, and then build a new stable on top of the hill. that way it can be rented out for other horse's (beanie can run a stable business)

Nice to see everything working out, land sold so you can hopefully get your house and Keith's coming home 🎉🎉 What George needs is a fermenting silo, should solve his problem and take up less space.

Great episode Scroft. Think you're right about knocking that shed and rebuilding. Some sheds can be put up quite rapid and you may not need planning permission if you're simply replacing an existing building.

Bin meaning to say I thought you did a very good job with calmsden farm development I wouldn’t really of changed anything, however I am not so keen on the court farm development but it would be no good if we all had the same taste but I do think it will be good to replace that building near the horses with something useful

I thought to myself £95,000 for the land at the end of the last episode 5k for your costs & a nice 10k profit not too greedy either and a fair price to Ross. The house would be good for you both not to far from George’s but far enough away for him not to hassle you

I think that Scroft and Beanie could close on the house in under 3 months without a problem.... Big, empty shed seems like a decent place to put silage... Juuust sayin lol! Great episode, Mr. Scroft. Cheers from sunny Arizona!! :)
