It's wonderful to hear Hillary's perspective on so many things. She seems to be a level-headed, hard-working, quiet person. These traits have served your family well, and you are a blessed man in that regard. I can't imagine what it must be like to share your lives with the world, and therefore, fall under the scrutiny of everyone who wanders into your home via the internet. You both seem to handle it well, though, and I enjoy your positive spin on farm happenings and life in general. Criticism from the teeming millions kind of goes with the territory, but rarely is it worth very much, and I'm glad you don't give it much credence. Congrats on being real, keeping things balanced, and for succeeding, both as a farm family and as regular people. Blessings to you both!

The last question was what i was wondering awhile back. My wife was a farm girl and then became a nurse. When i was in the hospital we had a snow storm and my Dr. Wanted to know who was going to clean the driveway. I told him she had a key to the skid steer and was very capable! Thank you both for letting us look over your shoulders. And by the way, you do have dogs on your farm. You just say here cows, or here pigs and they come running!

The 14 people who disliked this video just need to come sit down with me and my guys and experience what I get to experience while we watch.... Hilarie's little funny "unseen" comic face made a lot of happiness spread over the miles distant. They love our farm dog, "Cricket", a mostly Aussie with a bit of Golden in her. They've loved working with her if ever there's an escapee hen. They tell her "Hold her" and she grabs them gently by the wing and holds them till they get there. That dog has saved me a lot of steps, but seeing what you've got going on, you gave the perfect answer to the question. See you tomorrow!

HI there again Pete and Hillary from NZ. Thank you so much for sharing Hillary. I like to listen and learn from people who are real. If that means boring to some people, then so be it. The value is in the reality of living a real life on a farm and making it work which to me both of you do incredibly well. You have both helped immensely in incouraging me to go on and to try. You have showed me it is possible to farm on small acreage. I greatly admire what you both have accomplished together. I find myself having to redirect my thoughts from envy to admire as the latter is not productive. Please don't sell yourself short Hillary...what you call boring I call RARE and essential to your combined marriage and farm success. Thank You!

Hi Pete and Hilarie, You two are so lucky to have each other, both pulling together in the same direction for a common dream! A cold morning down here, 24 degrees and heavy frost, but a beautiful day ahead to get things ready for winter. My sister came down from Canandaigua yesterday and together with my wife and I began the big task of cleaning out my parent's house. My folks both passed last year at age 91, leaving behind a lifetime of memories. What a day we had, but there is much more to sort through. And my sister surprised me with a birthday gift, a copy of your book! I have been entrenched in reading it for the last two hours! Now it's time to get going and get some progress made today. I hope you folks have a great weekend. Thank you for all the effort you put into making these great videos and inviting us into your world - much enjoyed and appreciated!

Pete and Hillary, you make a such a beautiful couple. And Pete you have been blessed beyond measure. Because marriage is very hard these days with all the stressors put on husband's and wives to just survive. Add in kids and you end up spending 20k a year for high end daycare for 3 kids. Nationwide the aggregate reveals that more than one half of all marriages fail within the first 10 years. So it warms my heart to know that you both are stuck together so close y'all are like paper and glue. So cherish your Princess Leia, as y’all stroll across the cosmos together. For my wife and I, married 34 years this October 2022, I always practiced the same thing every day... I thank her for everything she does and I find a way to do something nice for her just to let her know I love her. I saw the video where you displayed some photos of both of you when you were getting married.... the love you had for each other seen in those photos hasn't faded one bit. Also, we really enjoy those sweet times Pete when you are talking and Hillary briefly looks up and smiles at you with love and admiration. You both are truly blessed.

I love every video but this one was an answer to “my questions” with regard to Hiliary’s attitude about the house restoration. As a woman, I could not imagine going through that ordeal; however to hear her thoughts made it so clear! She was a new bride, in love with her husband, living in their new little home and he was restoring their new “forever home” and all was great! Makes perfect sense to me now. My grandson asked his great-grandma if he and his dad could restore his great-grandpa’s Farmall H. She finally said yes and they now take it to farm shows and even won a first place. My grandson was only 7 at that time and they live in North Tonawanda, NY which is another reason I love your channel. My grandson wants to be a farmer someday,

I've always thought these real life videos can be like a mirror. You can look into them, and see yourself. Most folks are good sorts, and like Hilarie, some are also pretty quiet. But those who are more negative can see things of that type reflected back. I really do feel bad that some folks can view a hilarious video like the Benny Hill one, and not get a good laugh. How do they make it through life? The videos about the restoration were the first ones I watched on your channel, I looked around a bit, and then I subscribed. I'm glad it wasn't an extremely stressful time. It did sound very busy! Thanks for sharing with us, Hilarie. I've been involved in community theater, and enjoy it. But at times I have been daunted, too. I know that panicky feeling. I appreciate your involvement in the channel, even if it is just going about your daily activities, which I find interesting and soothing.
