I'll tell ya what... That Safety Pull device is something else. It's kind of ingenious in its simplicity. I'm surprised it hadn't been invented earlier. Plus, with my experience in agriculture as well as the number of farming channels I watch on KZbin I'm surprised this is the first time I'm seeing it, lol. Whoever the person or company is that invented it, they absolutely deserve the Nobel Peace prize, because if you just imagine the amount of frustration and anger and outbursts they have stopped and prevented with this device... They very well could have prevented a few first fights and never ending grudges. 😂

I believe Kringstad Ironworks invented it! I’m sure it’s helped keep a lot of people safe over the years too!

@@beetfarminmitch Ooh Yeah, that's a good point... Definitely kept folks safe for sure. I believe that every farm should have that, is it just makes sense both financially and functionally.

First time viewer here from Perth WESTERN AUSTRALIA. Let me tell you these are are some of the best vids I've seen, your diction is clear, you know what your talking about, no in you face background music. So refreshing to see people who have been brought up with real values..not dragged up. Next time you see your folks thank them for me. 🙏🇦🇺🇺🇲

It’s so wonderful to see a young man who has his priorities in order. Faith, family and farming. Thank you for doing the beet harvesting videos. Takes back to my youth in the early 70’s where I spent many days and nights with dad harvesting beets. Process is the same but the equipment has changed just a little 😂😂😂 please keep the videos coming. As Tony Fast says “farm hard, pray harder” May God continue to bless you and your family

New subscriber here. I follow several farms but yours is completely different . Your crops , beets and beans are new to me , know nothing about the processes for these. Looking forward to following you. 😀👍🏾🚜🇺🇸

Enjoying your channel...it's refreshing to see a young person unashamedly talking about God and the Bible....also, that's really going the extra mile to keep the edges of your fields so clean....good stewardship

Glad I found your Channel Mitch! I love seeing young farmers stepping up and continuing what your families have done and treasure for many generations! I watch most of Ag channels,but for some reason I just can't do most of corn star videos. He's annoying at times,to put it mildly 🤣 Never be ashamed of the gospel! Blessings to you and all of your family and greetings from south Texas

That looks like a good way to get them unstuck. I like those beens my grandmother taught me how to make navy bean soup and home made baked beans.

Brings back memories of my days on the farm mowing ditches.i had a few twice as deep as yours.we had duals on the tractor for those deep ones. I am talking you could see the roof of the tractor standing on the road.

As always, love the drone shots, you definitely have a knack for that! And the scriptural reference with the winnowing fork was fun too! You’re easily my favorite KZbin (and in-person) farmer.

I have always wondered if there was a wall to chop the beet tops and greens for cattle feed. Is there just too much risk of damaging the beet roots with silage trucks or wagons?
@beetfarminmitch3 жыл бұрын
I would say there are a couple reasons why we don't. Its not very practical for our operation to save the leaf's nor is there a large market for that nearby. Some people do do that though!

It's weird to think that edible beans are grown in the north considering that they're generally associated with Texas and Mexican food.
