Having a pair of needle nose, side cutter and basic slip joint pliers have done me right. A small case to hold fasteners, wire nuts, zip ties, screws, Electrical and other tapes, odds and ends etc. Just suggestions on what I have found needed and saved from making a trip home/store.

Hey Larry, another great video brother 👍 I have my tools split between 2 bags so that they won't be so heavy!!! Hope y'all have a great evening and GOD bless!!!

Pretty confident that you and I have a lot of overlap. Here’s something that may be useful for you. I have started breaking my tools down into a nesting dolls sort of setup. I have a small but really versatile general kit that is about 5 pounds and fits in a 5x8x3” pouch and handles a lot of jobs pretty quickly and is easy to carry around. That also packs into and complements a larger bag with more tools for when I need something specialized, or heavier duty. After that, I can carry that kit into the shop and large toolboxes, etc. in cases where I can bring the project to the tools, rather than tools to the project. I really love the quick and light pouch for most things and it saves a bunch of time. If I know I will need more, I can either just take the larger bag at the start or run back to the truck/wheeler for it. Just something that works for me and may be useful to others. I appreciate the channel sir, carry on.

It’s nice having a small pouch that’s got the essentials that I can grab for quick fixes and the bigger bag for more intricate jobs. The little pouch I have fits nicely on a belt clip that I have so I can go hands-free.

Nice set up! Gotta get you a Veto bag one day. They are pricey, but for an HVAC tech, they are definitely worth it.

I’ll have to check those out. Thank you for the recommendation!

Harbor freight makes the worlds best adjustable wrench, they also make the worlds best 6 in 1 screwdriver. Mainly because they are free and couple of times a year, and if you lose it, just go get another one. Knipex makes the best pliers. Makita makes the best drill gun/impact driver. I quit carrying nut drivers. drill gun is 10 times faster, than nut drivers.

I need to get a good drill driver but I’m afraid that I would loose it or break it lol
@Panotaker27 күн бұрын
@ I bought the double pack Makita. It comes with an impact drill that takes 1/4 inch bits, And it comes with a regular drill. Both drills come with a belt clip, so it’s pretty hard to lose. The smaller the battery the better. Bigger batteries are heavier, and the small battery last weeks. For wrenches, I carry a set of Gear Wrenches that are open on one end, and ratchet on the other end. I keep them in a roll up pouch that I got at northern tools. Time to get rid of that multi socket monstrosity you have. The set I have goes from 3/8 to 3/4, and the ratchet end is at 15 degrees, so you don’t scrape your knuckles. To carry my 1/4 inch bits, I have a carabiner that has 6, 1/4 inch bit holders. I leave that clipped to my belt, so I don’t have to dig through my pockets or a pouch to find my bits. I also have a Milwaukee Fastback utility blade knife that also takes 1/4 inch bits. Run to home depot and grab one of those and you can thank me later.
