I don't know why, but kingfishers always gave me "What are you gonna do about it?" vibe. For such small birds, they are surprisingly badass. And they're also super cute, of course.

i always think that if they wanted too. they could totaly tale us down. those beaks look like they would go straight through our skulls😂😂

Greetings from S.E. Australia. We get 3 species of kingfisher around here. The Azure, the Sacred, and of course Kookaburras, which are every-bloody-where. By the way, I've never known Kookaburras to hang around in groups except when people feed them. Other than that it's strictly in pairs.

I love your videos, I live in south Florida and we get some belted and ringed kingfishers occasionally. I really like this video format and would like to see a parrot video like this since there are so many interesting species.

3:57 Is that a double-headed Kingfisher?!?!
@louishernandez8197 Жыл бұрын
No, they just look that way cause of the way the chicks are leaning and the angle of the photo but you can see a little bit of the second chicks neck in the video.

i knew there where a lot of species all over the planet. but 119 is so wild. we got them here in the netherlands but i never managed to spot one. kookaburra are definately one of my favorite. but can also be the most annoying😂
@Textbooktravel Жыл бұрын
Haha! Totally, I was pleasantly surprised at how varied the species there are! I had initially planned to do hummingbirds but there are 300+ species so I will work on that one incrementally!

The name kingfisher is misleading, as explained in this video, not all kingfishers are fish hunters.
