Yeah that's a big strength of wave GLs that people don't really know about. There are a few maps where you can get double bounces to get impossible cleanups.

Great build! I do think it's funny how thirsty the community got for the patterns of certain weapons after they were removed from the game, like Explosive Personality, Beloved, Austringer etc. Mfers couldn't be bothered doing 3 seasonal activities a week for a free red border the entire Witch Queen year so now they have to farm rotator missions.

I hate how being a new player you feel it’s impossible to build anything you see bc half of peoples stuff is super old and non obtainable or a massive pain to get. For example. Everyone uses the solar smg eith incandescent from the solar 3.0 season I believe. But I started before lightfall so there is basically no alternative to that weapon. The game is not new player friendly at all. Like unlocking stasis, shadow keep, witch queen, And lightfall was weeks of playing and that doesn’t even bring you close to being in a good spot it just unlocks a lot of stuff. It’s crazy. Unlike any other game I’ve played.

@@alaskayoung3413 In season of the deep there is a really good non craftable SMG called bug-out bag. It has incandescent with some other nice perks. And it's the same RPM as Calus mini tool (it literally feels the same to me). Only reason people don't use it is because they have Calus mini tool, but this one is an amazing alternative. There is also an amazing lightweight frame SMG among the undying weapons which is craftable. I would say that we pretty much got all the alternatives you can ask for compared to the previous year, apart from explosive personality, I guess.

An interesting alternative to Auto Loading Holster on the GL is Genesis. Let's you pump out 2 shots back to back, assuming you break at least 1 persons shield with the first wave. But that is almost always going to happen

I thought I was the only one to use this gl, except I use genesis instead of autoloading holster which allows me to get off two gl shots sometimes in quick succession. It has saved me in a pinch or two, once when I used it to shutdown a warlock super.

Been a fan of the EP wombo for a long time. Have you tried prodigal return with proxy nades with the same play style? I haven’t yet but I wanna see if it fairs against better players who know how to counter wave frames..

I have, it's solid but since you have to hold down the trigger on the grenade you can't use it to wombo combo with a strand melee or a primary as quickly. I'd rather swap to a hitscan weapon for this build specifically

I like running explosive personality with an explosive payload hand cannon like the rose. I mostly use it on solar warlock to avoid people spamming threadlings/stasis.

Honestly? There are two Warlock builds worth using. - Stasis Warlock w/ Osmiomancy. - Solar Warlock w/ Ophidians. Our metagame hasn't changed much, and it almost changed when Threadlings came out, but Hunters do the Threadling thing better now, so those are our default again.

As an oce player I regularly play trials and quick play matches with more than half the lobby on this or the threading spam version, it’s very not fun to play against 3 strand hunters who are all making decoys and using each others grapples, and the reverse is true as well, very fun to play with

Wave still breaks shields (barely), hand cannon combos with 1 body after or 1 head before no longer work. Effectively the nerf makes disruption waves into what normal non-disruption waves acted like before the changes.

As much as I enjoy fast builds, I must say that Explosive personality combined with Strand Hunter melee is the dirtiest thing I've seen since Lightfall launch and is incredibly frustrating to play against because there is no counter to it if the enemy engages you with this trick.

I can’t tell u how unhappy I am that the catalyst for witherhoard requires 100 grenade launcher kills as someone who doesn’t pvp at all. No idea why they make weapons have that. Ticuus, the stasis side gun etc etc. like dude sure I could kill 100 people with an auto rifle but grenade launcher come on!
