It seems I neglected to mention an important detail about the second chest that is found in the cave. To access it without being teleported back out if the cave you will have to complete the "Cryptseeker" achievement. There is also: - pact merchand technique to spend karma with cartography tools and make around 1 to 4 gold, in 1 minute (depend of luck you have -> use the tools in the best map event rewards) - also seagrass farm (~75 silver for 2 spots) - also mussels farm in emerald edge (i get one farm freshwater pearl on average each time ~1 gold).. sometimes 3 pearls in a row with some boosts! So you can make ~ 4 or 6 gold in less than 5 minutes each day, without daylies. 'i hope some of you guys will read this com and use some of this things to help you

Thank you for the video. Nowhere near 10-15 minutes, more like 3-4hours with daily achievements unless you're insanely lucky and at least 4 achievements do not require PvP, WvW or daily events (so far haven't seen a single time daily would be without at least one of them). Don't know what kind of superhuman you'd have to be, but I'm sure this is pretty much impossible in 15 minutes unless everything goes without a single mistake and with all the right dailies. Still, making 10-15 gold in 4 hours is a lot more than I usually make so this is really useful information.

Thx for the cool video. Maybe one idea. You farm 3 rich iron nodes, which would be a total of 24 strikes. In Thunderhead Peaks (The Weeping Crest) are 8 normal iron nodes, which would also be 24 strikes (there are like 5 enemies, who can drop blood too). It would shape a few waypoint fees off (maybe a little bit of time, if you ignore a few enemies). But you need to buy the living world story step for the map.

There are two other rich orichalcum nodes, one is in the desolation and is easy as long as you have a shifting sands jackal. It's to the far right ("North East") corner, use a skimmer through "Silent Vale", you jump across into a waterfall with jackal using SSwp, right "behind" it is a room with a statue and the RO node. The other is in Vabbi, and is a bit more work. Down in The Necropolis, in the crypts, there is, at the bottom, a moderately badass monster. Kill 'em and you'll be able to take the RO node that they sit on. The one in the Desolation is really really easy. The one in Vabbi is still fairly easy, but takes a few minutes more since you have to kill the badass.

The things are timing dependant, but I recommend parking a character up in the matriach canopy on Verdant Brink and check when the night bosses spawn for you, logging on them on xx:09 is enough to kill them and gets you some nifty loot and amalgamated gemstone which I am not sure is worth that much by itself but one always needs them if doing legendary stuff along with other collections. But more importantly only 10 minutes after night bosses of VB the Ley-line Anomaly spawns in one of the 3 zones, so if you always do the events back to back at the same time each day you can park another alt on the specific map (on Gendarran for me; I mine the rich iron node by the spider vista while waiting). Killing the LLA takes like 2 mins at most and nets you with another mystic coin each day along with vendor item worth 50s, basically ~1.5g for couple minutes of time. Only bad thing is they happen at certain times and you might be spending time waiting for LLA to spawn, but one might be able to spend some time between the events by collecting other aformentioned stuff.

Also you have a chance of getting bladed armor chest from the wyvern mum - you can only buy 5/6 items, all chest pieces either drop from PvP/WvW rewards, the wyvern matriarch or if you do the meta with maximum score which is pretty hard I think.

I park an alt character in Bjora Marches. Spend 60 seconds looting the essence chests for eternal ice shards, which can be converted to materials later on.

​@@fizzibitz I do indeed convert into map currency, then into Volatile Magic. I spend the VM at the Volatile Magic Collector NPCs in Living World Season 4 Maps. I buy the shipments (mainly Trophy Shipments) for 250VM + 1g. Gives materials that you can either keep or sell on the TP!

Fractals are the best gold per hour in the game, so yes you can. Silverwastes isnt the top farm map but still pretty good (i believe is top 6 atm?). world v. world and pvp still give good gold if you fancy those.

If you work your way to T4 fractals you can easily make anywhere from 20 - 40 gold depending on your pugs experience and what the dailies are. For Open World I believe the only worthwhile core farm you can do is Silverwastes "RIBA" farm which according to fast farming gives ~24 gold per hour.

Moneyfarm wise it doesn't really matter, you can do quite a few things. You can also play PvP and WvW on core, there are decent core builds for that, PvE tho.. just fractals pretty much.

In the 15 minutes of play-time this video covers, you could probably only complete full meta event. Unless you get extremely lucky with a very rare loot drop, no meta event will pay you the 11 gold Evan made. For value for money, if you have time to do a meta event and want to do a meta event, add Dragonstorm to your routine. It takes 10-15 minutes and gives 2 gold plus materials you can sell for a few more gold (with a chance to drop more valuable, rare items). Or leech the Auric Basin meta event if you have enough chest keys.

Technically you only have to get one hit on the boss to get your meta event reward chest. But to answer your question, a full home instance node farm is worth far more gold per hour than a full meta event

I’ve been making a lot of gold off of Jade Runestones recently. I can get anywhere between 6-11 Jade Runestones per day, depending on my luck. That’s anywhere from 4.8 to 8.8 gold. Add on the daily achievements and the fact that I’m stocking up on Pact Mapping Supplies, which I can spend for massive gold every four weeks, and I make a good amount of quick income.

For rich iron nodes, there’s always one, and sometimes two rich nodes in the south east corner of the Gendarren Fields map near the vista and cave with spiders and ogres. I think many players might not realize how profitable it is to login every day and do these quick simple things, even when they don’t have the time to play the game regularly. The gold adds up quickly if you do at least this every day, even if you log off right after. I’ve been able to craft at least one of every Legendary weapon in the game over the last few years, even though I haven’t had the time to play a lot of hours. Edit: Well this comment didn’t age well, daily login rewards have been ruined by half at least and I haven’t bothered to complete a single one since the release of Soto.
