I really want Rally and Rallycross to grow more in the US. Just look at drifting and Formula Drift. Rally just needs something like that to get more people into rallying

But that was literally the biggest mistake they made a few years ago... Rallying became too associated to brands like Monster, DC and people like Block, Pastrana, Foust... It became too much Nitro Circus than an actual motorsport. For years, it was difficult to take the top level rallying in the US seriously. They needed to drop that "X-games" vibe in order to be taken seriously. I was reminded again of playing rally video games like the DiRT series; the games of 10 years ago or so were waaaay to obnoxious which didn't really sell rallying to younger people unless you were into such shenanigans. Imagine NASCAR or IndyCar going full on "Yeah, dude bro, Monster Energy stoner..." nonsense. That wouldn't do the sport much great...

@@Yoshik379 I agree. The past nitro rallycross season was entertaining, but the racing seemed less like a sport and more like a show. Regardless, I'm happy they're keeping rallycross going. But what I'm trying to say is that it would be great if ARA could get rally more mainstream like formula drift did for drifting. TBH idk how they'd do that but it would be awesome

Would like to see some Canadian Rallies as well. Drivers on from US and Canada often compete on both sides of the borders. Well they used to before Pandemic.

the CRC puts some really good coverage of their events on youtube. it's just that, well, they haven't really had any events this year. check out their previous years though. it would be great if dirtfish was able to do coverage like theirs of the coming ARA season.

Not happening. Subaru's main customer base is in N. America and the WRC is not popular there, and even if they did Subarus in europe will always be a niche thing

Two major fails in the Subaru roll. First - the roll itself (obv), Second - the driver putting one hand on the roof and the second hand still holding the wheel. You can very easily break both your hands/wrists doing that.
