Aaannd I've just deleted most of the drumming channels I've subscribed to this week because your content is the best and probably the only one I need right now (beginner here).

You can always watch others and look up to others, but you don’t have to try and mimic them. just come here when you need tips to practice :)

@@3lvisplay I think the problem is "more information than practice". Especially when different teachers tell you how to do things differently (typically double strokes). I think it's nice to stick (no pun intended) to one teacher you resonate with and once you've got enough under your belt, you can start looking elsewhere. I still have some other channels who cover different aspects of drumming, but as a beginner I think focusing on the 4 types of strokes for some time, choosing one grip and seeing things through with it will be more efficient than getting "5 tips every beginner needs to know" every other day.

This is a great vid. I’ve watched non glamours drummer and think his vids are great, but your explanation of moeller is so helpful

Would love a vid about how to incorporate filly snare hits or patterns during songs to spice it up. Or just how to do fills better in general

I'll add that idea to my list! In the meantime, my linear drumming, stick control, and sixteenth three note videos explore ideas for creating fills

Very good, definitely some good, concrete pointers in there for how wrist, fingers, arms relate to each other. Thank you!

Man, I needed to hear some of these things. I find myself second guessing my grip a lot. But you gave me a bit of confidence. Thanks!!

Thank you. The quick but meaty information is a sharp way to insert the right knowledge on techniques to viewers. Your crafting/creating, production, and playing have been amazingly helpful. Im so glad I stumbled on to your KZbin channel.

How do you only have 777 subscribers? The quality of these videos are very impressive! If you keep this up, it's only a matter of time, you get noticed. Good job!

Regarding the grip: You said to always keep your thumb across from the index finger even when the fulcrum shifts. But then you say you like to use the middle finger fulcrum, and in that case, the thumb is more across from the middle finger. Confusing!
@NoahAlexxander
@NoahAlexxander 8 ай бұрын
You don't have to have your thumb across from your middle finger for middle fulcrum. A lot of people say you do, and you can, but thats not the approach I use. I keep everything in the same place for every fulcrum. Its a touchy subject for some people, but my video from last week touches on it a bit.
