I love the fact that you actually came out with a video about this. I've been wanting to test it myself but without actually marking the gains per hour it already felt like I had a grasp of it. Now I know I had the correct read. For Roads I've been running Druidic staff with torch specter hood and hellion jacket with demon cape and hunter shoes.

You can fix the finding a new wisp time by using brecilien and taking the exits to reset.

Not sure if you were aware of this but the red bosses in the roads give a massive amount of fame I got 1.4 mil as a solo in a solo chest area from a t4 or t6 forgot to check, and I did a t8 red boss in a solo area as a 3 man and got 900k fame. There not to common but they give very good fame.

In the mists the monsters that are next to objectives. Trapped wisps or mob quest camps give the same fame as dungeon monsters. Monsters that are scattered across the map will give the same fame as openworld mobs. Killing powered up mobs and bosses rewards tons of fame. Much more so than the camp quests. Doing camps is good for might farming in my experience

Would you maybe consider a vod to test what fame to silver ratio is the best? i.e if you use a full spec build to fame farm where would you lose the least amount of silver or maybe even gain some silver? also then how much extra cost on silver does a satchel add compared to the extra fame.

Nice video but I just can not seem to find any Black Zones to farm in without getting over runed by the guilds “living” in the zone! I go 3 to 4 zones away from Limhurst portal city but there are always filled with groups! Where do you go to get a lot of up time farming?

I get around 3mill fame/hour in the mists (constantly), with almost the exact same gear but with a bit higher IP (8.1+ with max spec). That is also without tome of insight. I only/mostly just take the mobs that are scattered around in the mists, not the camps. The camps is best for might, not fame.

The mist is actually much better then you state on the video the trick is to also kill the mobs outside the camps that are red or have a circle bellow then , they give way more fame then the mobs in the camps . For instance a big boss inside the camp gives 40k fame outside some gives 180k . Soo while you loot for new mist you clear all the red and boss types . I’m doing for the pvp aspect but to kill time I clear the mobs and I’m getting way higher exp you claim with a much worse fame farm build .

best way to farm is to do open world mobs and go into mists if by doing openworld u find any purple or smtimes green whisps cuz not many ppl and if u find legendary whisp gg free 5m fame if u clean a lot of mobs inside cuz u literally alone in purple/golden whisps

Normal mists suck, but I wonder what the cutoff is where it becomes efficient to go in a wisp you find while you are fame farming in the open world. EX: I'm pretty sure the time spent in legendary mists even just killing random mobs and freeing wisps in them is more efficient than open world farming. I'm curious how uncommon/rare/epic stack up to open world.

As someone already mentioned in the mists you can kill the standing mobs outside the camps for the exact same fame as open world, and they spawn pretty fast. It would be interesting to also factor in the safety level of each method, things like escaping one hunter vs a gank mob may also come into play in the mists, specially for low level players who are still afraid of losing their gear. Also, love your detailed videos.

Mist mobs give much less fame if wisp is not legendary ofc, usually its common

@@deltafork Mist mobs in camps and by objectives give much less fame, mist mobs that are free-standing are worth somewhat equivalent xp (seems to maybe be a one tier drop). For example, an archer guarding a wisp trap could be worth 3000 fame, while one in a clearing is worth 6k fame. That being said, high value wisps can definitely make this more attractive. Wisp traps guarded by low level mobs are also generally worth it, as they're about on par with a full value mob's fame. Open world is likely more lucrative if there are a lot of high tier upgraded mobs or you can safely farm T8 without ganks, but mists are decent if you power farm the mobs worth more fame.

Well... with all my respect I slightly diagree. I can take into mists 8.3 set without almost no chance I will lose it (I can't take that set into open world or AR) and I will just kill upgraded mobs (camps are not worth at all + as you mentioned gankers), find my way into better quality of mists and also with such set I can take a lot of objectivs without any fight. If I do not want to fight I dont have to, just going to killl big mobs again. With the favor from mobs and objectives I am way more than 2,5m / hour. Not mentioning the amount of silver I get from mobs/drops/chests. There is only 1 rule which is hard for most of players :) Avoid PvP.

If you enter the mists from Brecilien, and once you do all the quests in that specific mist, can’t you just leave that mist, which would just dump you right back into Brecilien thus being able to immediately enter a new mist instead of having to look for a wisp to jump to the next mist…? I’m pretty sure it works that way.

try to spec a weapon with low sustain in roads its just not viable. maybe if you are speccing nature this can work (my bad i didnt watch the full vid :D)

As a new player i dont have the silver funds to be in black zone with high tier gear for risk of losing it to PKers. Is it worth it to be farming in yellow zone mists/OWs or should I be risking it and heading out to the black zones?

Should farm the yellows until you have a few sets you can lose then make the move immediately. Be super cautious at first then you'll get the hang of it

Yeah roads means death for solos tho. There's ALWAYS groups. Even when you think you are 1v1, you are not. Open world is a lot safer if you don't run on the main road

Same here about the mists, for the mobs outside the camps, when You lure them in camp borders they give same fame as regulars but they give it towards the camp goal, then duo mists give higher fame, not much harder and less populated, then yes, there is not a lot of fame in regular mists, but lets say i didnt have much time yest, i did like 5 mists and 2 of them where legendary ( 1 solo lethal, 1 duo lethal) as solo i rad some 5 flat set that i havent leveled up and great nature, duo was a bit better, not even looking at the amount of resources 8 to 8.2 but the fame You get it just absurd its an easy 1.5m in those 15 min...

+ i feel that roads is super easy to die in, black zone is fine, You can go unlucky and You die, but it just feels boring just running around just for fame... thats why I like wisps, its way better fame that You said, even YZ is better than You said, its diverse, You can do more than just fame farm ( I know that You have same in black zone or ava, its just not that consistent)

T5 Yellowzone Static Group Dungeons as Specter/Hellion/Shadowcaller/Candle + faction flagged during rallying Shit tons of fame zero risk. During rallying cry it’s near deserted late night and you can pull 3-4 million fame / hour with max spec. Now with the new server the Asians are gone and these places are prime.

mists are so fking cancer. idk wich youtuber made that bladed staff build. but now everyone is using it :/ all you see is 8.3 double bladed. but they run the moment someone is 1300-1500ip even though they are 1800. so for new players i would recommend skipping mists for now. they only target 900-1100 ip players.
