Thank you thank you thank you for this video I bought a pair of jeans at work and got them home and immediately found out that the zipper was broken so I started looking for a video of how to fix it and I did it but again I put them on and the zipper broke again so now I tried to replace the slider and it still wasn’t working but now I have seen your video of how to fix it so I’m hoping that it works. That is brilliant. Thank you. My question is "how do you fix the bottom of a zip if it is worn or has come away from the tape so the slider cannot slide onto the teeth"? Is a new zip the only option?

Likely you are looking at a full replacement, the good news is that a new zip will double the life of the garment!

I have a piece of luggage (soft holdall) and the slider has completely come off the zip. The bag is pretty new and the teeth are ok. Is it easy to add a slider on then tighten it like you have done here? The zip has no 'end' like you might find on a jacket. Please help!

Honey that is amazing. Now l have my fanny pac that l use to carry my A7ii and the prong of the zipper or one of em is asquew, ascue,.. bent from the rest. Can it be saved ? I have multiple pockets in tbr pac but this One is the only one that has room enough for the cam. Thanks. Wish YT would implement pictures so things like this can be seen

Hopefully I can describe this situation I have. Metal zipper over 40 years old on Jean jacket that works great once you get it going. The fabric is not as firm at the start of the zipper so it’s a little difficult to align the start and get it zipped. Any suggestions?

How about when one side of the slider has come completely off the zipper?? Fixable?

Yes. Where this lady squeezed the zipper together... You need to first pry open that gap, then feed the track or chain into place, before squeezing back together.
