I've got a Kenmore mini ultra. Suuuuuper simple, but it gets the job done. Definitely has all the basic features pointed out here. Thanks for the video, Shae! ❤

Is it possible to create a mitered edge if the length that the sleeve needs to be cut goes past where the fabric is squared/extended? (Past where it’s interfaced)

im only 13 minutes in and let tell you, i wish i could have been an apprentice in your sewing shop lmao im starting trade school for sewing and garment construction here in Denmark and am applying for apprenticeships (as thats required, and hey, one gotta learn!) and you seem like a HILARIOUS master to work for. Professional and still with garage-humor, man...

Love your vid, thank you for the great vibe :D I do love some of my garments that are made joining fabrics using cover stitches instead of serger, could you explain that more? I probably will never (well, never say never but) own an industrial machine like that, but love learning more about them

Some videos have poor sound quality, the person talks rapidly and the thread is lost.

Nothing better than a guessing game? Do you ask the customer to wait while you pin in the fabric to check?

Such useful information on your channel! I also wanted to mimic the ready made stitches on garments, so I starting researching and found out about the Coverlock machine. I purchased one by Elna at a garage sale and I've been learning how to use it. I just love it! Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us! I love returning altered garments to my customers looking pretty much the same way I received them except, of course, with the needed alteration!

I did not get that how did u manage to match both arm round and shoulder round exact same rather shoulder round must be extra as u cut it and it's become big in round size... Pl plz let me know.. If u cut the shoulder deeper then round size must have increased.. And arm round is the same... I hope u understand what m trying to say

You are just tooooo cute! I have been sewing for 50 years! I have owned 4 Baby Lock sergers (still own 2 - just gave one to my daughter) I had an Elna, Bernina, and Singer one too - but I like the Baby Lock the best! I sewed my own clothing for years, then my kids costumes for ballet and clogging teams, graduated up to their wedding gowns and then their friends wedding gowns, and now - landscape quilting, free motion quilting, and crafting (tote bags. Etc) I just love sewing! Keep up the good work - and congratulations on your baby! (I have 5!) 😊 Thanks for the video! Love your perky humor - very engaging - just downright good fun! I'm smiling!
