Tip. Apply the dish soap on dry skin! Water makes fleas close up, you want the soap getting in them before they go into their defense for water.

I found that using a little bit of Dawn soap like a teaspoon works really well for getting rid of fleas. It doesn’t repel them. Also, apple cider vinegar with mother, preferably and lemon juice works really well! If you’re worried about your dogs paws, I would suggest using coconut oil for an anointment. Dawn work's for a minute.. Had my last dog 14 year's, she had fleas twice in NH, move WV she passed away.. Still no fleas.. Got my 8 week old Chihuahua, think she came here with them. 2 short months we're now infested... Ughhh.. Just got a flea dip, and some citronella spray.. About to try it now.. Have bathed and bathed and bathed her.. Nothing is helping.. Hopefully the dip will work 😔

Use tropiclean natural flea and tick maximum strength shampoo as well as their bedding spray it helps but you have to keep using until all fleas on your dog and most likely in your house die! They spread like wild fire so make sure you're vacuuming and washing all your stuff and theirs. Dawn only works for a day so use the shampoo I mentioned earlier and you can also use the bedding spray on your dogs and that will also help keep fleas away

Simparica Trio is a preventive med. But if your pet already has fleas you will need something to get rid of the fleas that are already on the dog. I do use Simparica Trio and I love it. Have used it for a few dogs and it works to keep fleas off.

I suppose to make sure that it’s safe for your dog. I recommend making your own with Dawn dish soap mixed with vinegar, it works great. Use I once monthly. Buying some flea repellents can really be toxic and bad for your dog.

Change the scenery and bathe them in a different place that isn’t frightening or uncomfortable to them, keep them relaxed by petting them while another person washes them or viseversa or just do both. After the bath give them a the best tummy rub or whatever your pet loves and for behaving calm, And if they didn’t then it’s just you.
